Conventionally, in cans for enclosing powder (for example, powdered milk), a partition plate (transparent or opaque plastic film is often used) is provided at the mouth of the can to seal the contents. When cutting out this partition plate, a can opener such as a cutter is used, or a score for tearing is set on the partition plate in advance, and the partition plate is cut along the score. In order to form a sliding edge consisting of a straight edge on the can mouth by cutting out the partition plate, it is necessary to move a can opener such as a cutter along a straight line, or use a pre-set breaking score. A portion is arranged along a straight line. However, it is not only difficult to move the cutter etc. along a straight line inside the can mouth, but also because it is necessary to engrave the score by embossing in order to provide part of the breaking score along the straight line. There was a problem in that it was difficult to form a score that was easy to break, and it was difficult to form a smooth edge.

However, in this invention, a score is provided in an annular manner along the edge of the partition plate, and a linear score is provided to form a sliding edge on the inside of the annular score. By forming a discontinuous portion on one side, when cutting out the partition plate, it is easy to cut along a straight line, thus solving the conventional problem.

That is, to explain this invention with reference to an embodiment, an annular flange 3 for seaming is formed at the edge of a disc 1 made of polyethylene, vinyl chloride, or other plastic film through a rising wall 2, and the upper peripheral edge of the disc 1 is A score 4 for breaking is provided in an annular shape along the section, and a score 5 is provided in a straight line inside the annular score 4.
Discontinuous score portions 6, 6 are formed on one side of the point P (two locations) that intersects with. As shown in FIG. 4, the discontinuous portion 6 is formed by filling a portion of the annular score 4 with the surrounding film melt.

The method of manufacturing the partition plate of the above embodiment will be explained as follows. That is, as shown in FIG. 6, a partition plate material 8 is first punched out into a circular shape from a band-shaped plastic film 7, and then molded to have a square cross section. On the upper surface of the plastic film 7, a score 5a which is to be the score 5 is preliminarily provided in a straight line in the longitudinal direction of the film, and during the punching, the position of the score 5 is aligned with the score 5a. Next, an annular score 4 is provided on the upper surface of the disk 1 constituting the partition plate. This processing is carried out by bringing a cutter (not shown) into contact with the periphery of the upper surface of the disk 1 and rotating either the cutter or the disk. After processing score 4, a heating iron is pressed against a part of score 4, that is, one side of the point P where scores 4 and 5 intersect, melting the pressed part and transferring the molten material to that part. Fill within score 4. In order to accurately control the pressing part for processing using a heated iron, positioning protrusions 9, 9 are provided when punching out the partition plate material 8 from the plastic film 7, and the discontinuous portion 6 is It should be removed after processing.
In addition, although the score was provided on the upper surface of the partition plate in the above, it can also be provided on the lower surface.

Next, in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 7 to 11, a partition plate material 8 is punched out from a plastic film 7 on which scores 5a have been provided in advance in the same way as in the previous embodiment.
This is molded into a partition plate with a cross section that is composed of a disk 1, a rising wall 2, and an annular collar 3. On the upper surface of the disk 1, along with the linear score 5 formed by the score 5a, there are scores along the periphery. 10 is provided in an annular (incomplete) manner. The score 10 is disposed in an incomplete annular manner, leaving discontinuous portions 11, 11 on one side of the intersection P with the score 5.

When manufacturing the partition plates shown in each of the above embodiments, a partition plate material 16 is punched out into a rectangular shape from a plastic film 7 on which scores 5a have been previously provided (FIG. 13);
After providing the annular score 4, the partition plate material 16
The discontinuous portion 6 is processed by aligning by the periphery of the partition plate material 16, or the annular score 10 is provided by aligning by the periphery of the partition plate material 16 and leaving the discontinuous portion 11. For example, the positioning protrusion 9 is not necessary.

The partition plate shown in the above embodiments is stretched over the can mouth by means of, for example, winding the annular collar 3 provided on the periphery together with the end edge of the can body. When opening the can opening, the disc 1 can be easily torn along the scores 4 and 5 or the scores 5 and 10 in the partition plate. As for the scores 4 and 10 provided on the edge, breakage was prevented at the discontinuous parts 6 and 11, so in the end, the disc 1 was cut out at the part marked A in the figure and along the score 5. A sliding edge consisting of a straight edge can be formed. If there is no longer any need for a partition plate at the can mouth after the contents of the can have been emptied, the partition plate left to form a sliding rim may also be formed along the can mouth rim. Score 4,
At the same time, the discontinuous portions 6 and 11 of the scores 4 and 10 can be removed from the can opening by cutting them with a cutter or by hand. In each of the above embodiments, the partition plate is made of plastic film, but in addition to plastic film, a thin metal plate such as an aluminum sheet may also be used.

As described above, this invention has the effect of providing a partition plate that can be easily torn to leave a sliding edge at the mouth of the can. In addition, because the structure has an annular score along the edge with a discontinuous part interposed in a part of the score, the partition plate left at the can mouth to create a sliding edge can be removed relatively easily. There is an effect that can be done.

Also, since one side of the intersection between the annular score and the linear score is continuous, the opening is extremely smooth, and the other side is discontinuous, so you can start cutting from either the annular part or the straight part. A half-moon-shaped opening can be obtained automatically.

Further, since a discontinuous portion remains after the opening, both ends of the straight edge are not likely to break easily even if force is applied, and a durable sliding edge can be obtained.
