Since the circuit is formed by soldering 3,106 to the conductive pattern 108 on the surface of the printed circuit board 107, there are many terminals that can be drawn out to the outside, and therefore the overall thickness T of the connector in the front and rear direction must be considerably large. I had a problem with not being able to get it.

That is, in order to achieve the above object, the connector of the present invention forms a conductive pattern on the back plate of the body housing at least a multi-polar connector part and a switch part interlocked with the multi-polar connector part, and connects the multi-polar connector via this conductive pattern. The gist of this invention is to connect the contact piece for the circuit configuration of the section and the contact piece of the switch section, and will be described in detail below with reference to examples.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, this multi-pole connector section 3 has a large number of mating connector pin insertion holes 6 in a portion surrounded by a substantially rectangular frame-shaped guide groove 5 recessed from the front of the body 1. Two types of contact pieces 8 and 9 are formed in two rows, one above the other, and are connected to the inside of the body after the insertion openings 6.
is inserted from the back side, and the contact pieces 8 for the circuit configuration to be connected to each contact piece 19 of the switch part 4.
is a terminal 12 for connecting to the conductive pattern 11 (see FIG. 5) printed on the back plate 2.
and a terminal 13 for connection to a printed circuit board (not shown), and the other contact piece 9 is provided only with a terminal 14 for connection to a printed circuit board. A regulating plate 15 is interposed between the terminals 13 and 14 for connecting the printed circuit board of the contact pieces 8 and 9, and the terminal 1 for connecting the printed circuit board of the contact piece 8
By pressing and fixing 3 with the back plate 2, both the contact pieces 8 and 9 are attached so that they cannot be removed, and the contact piece 8
A terminal 12 for connecting the conductive pattern passes through the back plate 2 and is soldered to the conductive pattern 11 on the surface thereof.

On the other hand, the switch section 4 has a plunger 17 having a clip 16, a spring 18 for biasing the plunger 17 toward the multipolar connector section 4, and a large number of contact pieces 19 built into the body 1. The contact pieces 19 are attached in three rows, one above the other, by inserting and fixing the terminals 20 into the back plate 2. Each terminal 20 is soldered to the conductive pattern 11 on the back plate 2, and the terminals 20 are attached to the multi-pole connector part 4. It is connected to each contact piece 8 for the circuit configuration via the conductive pattern 11. The lower end tapered portion 10 of the plunger 17 projects beyond the guide groove 5 of the multipolar connector portion 4 toward the multipolar connector portion 4.
Therefore, when connecting a mating connector to the multi-pole connector part 4, the body frame part of the mating connector inserted into the guide groove 5 hits the lower end tapered part 10 of the plunger 17, and the plunger 17 is moved by the spring 18.
In order to move upward against the force, the clips 16 that had been in contact with the contact pieces 19 of the lower and middle rows until then move upward.
As the plunger 17 rises, it comes into contact with the contact pieces 19 in the upper and middle rows, thereby switching the circuit.

As can be understood from the above embodiments, the connector of the present invention has a conductive pattern 11 formed on the back plate 2 of the body 1 housing the multi-pole connector section 3 and the switch section 4 interlocked therewith.
A contact piece 8 for circuit configuration of the multi-pole connector part 3 is inserted through the
Since the terminal 20 of the contact piece 19 of the switch part 4 is connected to the contact piece 19 of the switch part 4, the terminal 20 of the contact piece 19 of the switch part 4 is pulled out like a conventional connector and connected to the contact piece of the multi-pole connector part on the printed circuit board. There will be no need. Therefore, it is only necessary to pull out the terminals 13 and 14 for connecting the printed circuit board of the contact pieces 8 and 9 of the multi-pole connector section 3 downward, so the number of terminals that can be drawn out to the outside is greatly reduced compared to conventional connectors. The thickness t of the connector is reduced by the number of terminals 20 of the contact piece 19 of the switch part 4, and the thickness t of the connector becomes only the thickness of the body 1 plus the back plate 2, so that it can be easily made thinner. Also,
As in the embodiment, if each contact piece 19 of the switch part 4 is attached to the back plate 2 and the back plate 2 is shared as a base for fixing the contact pieces, there is no need to provide a separate base for fixing the contact pieces, so the number of parts can be reduced. This is advantageous in terms of manufacturing process and economy.
