Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the labor for passing the front end of rolled paper into a recorder so that the paper can be easily loaded into the recorder by forming separable joint parts at two points near the terminal part of a rolled medium and setting the spacing between the two points at the spacing larger than the length at which the paper turns round an exposing part and developing part in the recorder. CONSTITUTION:A pair of the separable joint parts such as perforations 20, 21 are formed near a cassette 11 of microcapsule paper exposed from the cassette 11. The length existing between the perforations 20 and 21 is preset at such a length at which a user can easily cut the rolled paper 6 by turning the paper round an exposing plate 4 and press fixing rolls 5. The rolled microcapsule paper 6 remains in the paper passage when the perforations 20, 21 are cut apart. The used cassette is removed from the device body A and the fresh rolled microcapsule paper cassette is loaded into this recorder. The rolled medium is thus separated by using the joint parts and the turning round of the rolled medium is easily and surely executed.

[Prior Art] Recording devices that conventionally use this type of cartridge include, for example, photographic developing devices and microfilm glue printers, which illuminate a document with light and use the transmitted or reflected light to print photosensitive recording paper. The photosensitive recording paper is exposed to light, and the exposed photosensitive recording paper is developed to form a subject image on the recording paper. However, in this type of apparatus, a predetermined chemical is used to develop the photosensitive recording paper after exposure, so the structure of the developing device becomes complicated. Therefore, in recent years, copying devices using light- and pressure-sensitive recording paper supported by microcapsules containing a dye precursor and hardened by light have been considered (for example, Japanese Patent Application No. 73952/1983). After exposing the photosensitive and pressure sensitive recording paper, the photosensitive and pressure sensitive recording paper is pressurized using a pressure roller, etc. to destroy the uncured microcapsules and release the dye precursors encapsulated within the microcapsules. An image can be formed on the light-sensitive pressure-sensitive recording paper or transfer sheet by simply letting it flow out and reacting with the developer coated on the light-sensitive pressure-sensitive recording paper or the transfer sheet. Can be easily configured. However, when handling this recording paper, the microcapsules of photosensitive and pressure-sensitive recording paper are easily destroyed by external forces, so you must be careful when handling it. If this method is used, there are problems such as poor operability when setting the recording paper in the copying machine, and a complicated recording paper conveyance device.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In order to solve these problems, the applicant invented the use of a roll of photosensitive and pressure sensitive recording paper, but first the roll paper was not placed in a copying machine. There is a problem when installing it. That is, the leading end of the roll paper had to be pulled out and passed through the exposure section and the pressure fixing section, which was very time consuming.

The paper feed shaft 12 and paper ejection shaft 13 of the cartridge 11 include
A rolled microcapsule paper 6 is attached. When the cartridge 11 is not in use, it has a feed shaft leader 17 that is connected to the leading end of the rolled recording paper 6 and protrudes through an ejection opening 17a, and a paper feed shaft leader 17 that is connected to a paper ejection shaft 13 and is connected to a paper feed shaft leader 17 that is connected to the leading end of the rolled recording paper 6 and protrudes through an ejection opening 17a. The paper discharge shaft lever 18 extends to the outside through the opening 18a. At this time, the paper feed shaft leader 17 is connected to the paper feed shaft 12 of the cartridge and comes out from the paper feed port 17a of the cartridge. In FIG. 1, a light source 2 illuminates an original 1, and the reflected light passes through a lens 3 and exposes a microcapsule paper 6 on an exposure table 4.

After that, the color developer paper 10 is taken out from the color developer paper cassette 7,
The image is transferred onto a color developer paper 10 through a pressure fixing roller 5 while being superimposed on a microcapsule paper 6, and the color developer paper 10 is further polished with a heat fixing roller 6 and output. Therefore, when the paper feed shaft 12 and the paper discharge shaft 13 are rotated by a drive means (not shown), the microcapsule paper wound around the paper feed shaft 12 is sequentially wound around the paper discharge shaft 13.

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing the state when the rolled microcapsule paper 6 is used up, and the microcapsule paper 6 is completely used.
The recording paper 6 wound around the paper feed shaft 12 is no longer used. As shown in FIG. 3, a pair of separable joints such as perforations 20 and 21 are formed near the cartridge 11 in the microcapsule paper 6 exposed from the cartridge 11. This perforation 20.21
The length between them is preset to a length that allows the user to easily cut the roll paper 6 by routing it around the exposure table 4 and the pressure fixing roll Φ in the recording apparatus. Then, when the perforations 20 and 21 are cut away, the rolled microcapsule paper 6 remains in the paper path. Then, the used cartridge is removed from the apparatus main body A, and a new zero-order rolled microcapsule paper cartridge is attached to the recording apparatus. A paper feed shaft leader 7 connected to the leading edge of the rolled microcapsule paper 6 before use comes out from the right intake port 18a. A paper discharge shaft leader 8 connected to the paper discharge shaft 13 comes out from the left intake port 18a. When the old cartridge is removed from the main body of the apparatus, the paper ejection side of the remaining microcapsule 6 is connected to the paper ejection shaft reader 18.
and connect the paper feed side to the paper feed reader 17. By doing this, the paper feed side and the paper discharge side of the new cartridge are connected through the paper path of the rolled microcapsule paper 6. After that, by applying a driving force to the paper ejection shaft 13 and winding it up, the end of the rolled microcapsule paper 6 is pulled out from the paper feed shaft 12 of the cartridge, guided by the microcapsule paper 6 remaining in the passage, and the rolled microcapsule paper 6 is pulled out from the paper feed shaft 12 of the cartridge. The capsule paper 6 is installed in the paper path.

Since the length existing at this location is at least longer than the length for routing the exposure section and the current section (a) within the recording device, if the end portion of the roll medium is routed within the recording device, the joint portion may be removed. Then, take out the used cartridge from the recording device and attach the unused cartridge to the recording device. In this state, insert the leading end of the unused roll medium into the handled roll medium. The roll medium can be routed within the recording apparatus simply by connecting the sets and feeding the paper, making the handling of the roll medium not only very simple but also reliable.
