Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the resistance at a rotation fulcrum part to realize the good following of an armature and to enable a high-speed printing, by a method wherein a depressing member is made of a rigid body having an edge part to be brought into pressure contact with the armature at the edge part thereof. CONSTITUTION:An armature 1 is so supported as to be pinched from opposite directions between an edge part 2a of an outer circumferential part of an outer yoke 2 and an edge part 3a of a depressing member 3 formed opposedly to the edge part 2a. The depressing member 3 is integrally formed with a ring 4, and thereon a ring rubber 5 is fixed by the ring 4. With the electric supply to a coil 17, the armature 1 rotates toward an inner yoke 16 on the fulcrum determined by the edge part of the periphetary of the outer yoke 2 and the rigid body edge 3a. With the rotation of the armature 1, a printing is conducted using printing wires 9 with tip ends arranged in a predetermirred matrix form. The fulcrum of the armature 1 held by a linear contact makes an energy loss remarkably low at the fulcrum part of the armature 1 in the acuation of the armature 1 and, furthermore, the ring rubber 5 absorbs the shock occurring at the impact.

[Prior Art] Conventionally, in the print head of this type of clapper set, the fulcrum of the armature is sandwiched between the edge part of the outer periphery of the outer yoke and the pressure contact member made of an elastic material, and the armature is moved from opposite directions. By applying pressure, a rotational fulcrum for the armature was formed.

[Problems to be solved] In the print head of the conventional clapper set described above,
Since the rotational fulcrum of the armature was formed by the edge part of the outer periphery of the actor yoke and the elastic body, the armature was in line contact with the edge part of the outer periphery of the outer yoke, but the elastic body This results in surface contact, which has the disadvantage of increasing resistance during armature operation, worsening followability, and impeding higher speeds.

[Means for Solving Problems] The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems of the conventional art. In the print head in which the armature is sandwiched between the pressing member and the armature to form a rotational fulcrum, the pressing member is formed of a steel body having an edge portion, and the edge portion of the pressing member is pressed against the armature.

A cover spring 7 is located above the stopper plate 6 and pushes the stopper plate 6 downward. Further, the armature 1 is positioned by an armature guide 8 fixed to the outer periphery of the actuator yoke 2, and a printed wire 9 is fixed to the tip of the armature 1. The yoke 10 is fixed to the head frame 11, and a guide 12 is installed at the nose of the head frame 11 to align the tips of the printed wires 9 in a predetermined matrix, and a spring holder is installed at the convex part of the head frame 11. 13 is fixed.

Then, when the coil 17 is energized, the armature 1 rotates in the direction of the inner yoke 16 about a fulcrum provided by the outer peripheral edge of the outer yoke 2 and the rigid edge 3. Accordingly, printing is performed using print wires 9 whose tips are arranged in a predetermined matrix. Next, when the power supply is stopped, the armature 1 returns to the return spring 1.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the present invention has an edge portion of the outer yoke outer periphery and a pressure contact member made of a rigid body having an edge portion. Since the armature forms a rotational fulcrum, both the contact parts of the armature with the outer yoke and the pressure contact member are in almost line contact, reducing the resistance at the rotational fulcrum, allowing the armature to follow better and enabling high-speed printing. There is an effect.
