Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a manufacturing process of a tubular body, by superposing a narrow width sheet on a fringe part of an end side for winding of a prepreg for adhesion. CONSTITUTION:A prepreg 1 forming a tubular body is formed of a fiber sheet by impregnating the fiber sheet with thermosetting synthetic resin. A narrow width sheet 3, which is composed of thermosetting resin of the same quality as that of impregnating resin of the prepreg 1, and which possesses high viscosity than that of the thermosetting resin and is apt to adhere, is superposed upon a fringe part of an end side of winding to a core metal 2 of the prepreg 1 for adhesion. The prepreg 1 is wound round the core metal 2 by a rolling device after that. Then a tubular body is manufactured by performing taping, heat curing treatment and removal of a core. The fringe part of the end side of winding of the prepreg can be stuck easily to an external circumferential surface of the prepreg by only a rolling process and a tubular body such as fishing rod having strength and a favorable external appearance and style can be manufactured efficiently.

プリプレグの繊維端部が目開きしたり繊維が蛇行したり
して強度を低下させることがないと共に重合した細巾テ
ープは熱硬化処理によってプリプレグ内に分散同化して
製造される管状体の表面形状が変形又は凹凸を呈するこ
ともなく、強度のあるかつ外観丁裁の良い釣竿等の管状
体を能率良く製造できる優れた特徴を有する。
