It is well known that chlorine dioxide is a strong oxidizing agent. Stabilized chlorine dioxide is an aqueous solution of a stable form of chlorine dioxide complex, which has all the advantages of chlorine dioxide gas without its disadvantages, such as its explosive nature.

Stabilized chlorine dioxide includes a stabilized chlorine dioxide aqueous solution suitable for generating gaseous chlorine dioxide by acidification to a pi lower than about 6, and a powder containing a basic adsorbent that has adsorbed an effective amount of the stabilized chlorine dioxide solution. There are two types of solid forms, and the rate of generation of CU O2 gas can be freely adjusted by adding an acidic substance to adjust the pH.

However, when using this aqueous solution, there are the following drawbacks. For example, when sprayed on an object to be deodorized, it often solidifies and accumulates on the object, causing the sprayed liquid to flow and reduce its effectiveness. If sprayed in the form of a spray to eliminate bad odors in the air, it may cause harm to humans and animals. There are also methods such as blowing foul-smelling air into the aqueous solution or passing through a shower of the aqueous solution, but these methods have drawbacks such as the need for expensive equipment. In order to naturally absorb bad odors, it is necessary to make the contact area considerably large, and there is also a method of letting the odor seep into cloth, etc., but the method of holding the cloth and the means to prevent it from coming into contact with the human body are complicated. .

In the case of powdered solids containing basic adsorbents, when the target is acidic waste with moisture, it can be sprayed onto it, but in other cases it needs to be dissolved in water before use. This is even more troublesome than in the case of solutions.

The impregnated microporous beads were packaged in a heat-sealable water-insoluble non-woven fabric/non-woven paper bag with a minimum pore size of 100 μm, with the intention of handling them in various packaging formats, such as tea bags. In order to prevent drying of the product or even the aqueous solution, the bag is filled with an aluminum sheet with one side laminated with a hot-melt resin film.
It is supplied with a heat-sealed charging port (if double bags are used, the aluminum sheet bag is the outside), and can be used for various applications that require simple use of stabilized chlorine dioxide.
