積極的に悪臭物質に作用してこれを無臭化する機能はな
いという欠点があった。しかして、現状の固形消臭芳香
剤を称しているものは、固形芳香剤で悪臭を感じにくく
する商品が主流であり、一方、芳香に頼らない消臭剤と
称する商品は、たとえば活性炭のごとく付着されていな
いが、あるいは付香されたとしても微香を与える程度の
効果しかもちえない。

完成したものである。このように、2種類の液体を吸着
させた吸着物が、それぞれ単独に吸着させた吸着物の混
合物の示す性質からは全く予想されない相乗効果をしめ
したことは、全く予想できないことで実験の結果判断し
たことである。

チルセルロースおよび2%の結晶セルロース(商品名ア
ビセル、旭化成工業株式会社製)を均一に混合した後、
水を加えて油粘土程度のかたさに調整した。これを用い
て置き人形を造形して50〜60℃で約5時間乾燥し、
されに、48時間自然乾燥させて重量が150gの人形
をえた。この人形に1,000ppm安定化二酸化塩素
液20部、実施例3で用いたシャネル#19タイプ香料
130部を吸着させて本発明消臭芳香組成物をえる。こ
のものは、13m2の病室で置物兼消臭芳香剤として用
いて約6ヶ月間の保香期間があった。
