畔際での植付作業を行なつてしまい、この場合に
は苗植付が停止された欠株条を人手によつて補植
しなければならない欠点があつた。そこで、苗止
め体が作動状態であることを検知する検知機構を
設けることも提案されるが、苗載台には集団苗が
残り少なくなつたことを検知する別の検知機構が
設けられていることもあつて、各検知機構ごとの
報知装置を設けなければならず複雑となるうえに
いずれの検知機構が作動しているかを認知するの
が紛らわしくなる等の新たな欠点がある。
