Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a product where wood fragments have been scattered evenly with reproducibility, by a method wherein an adhesive sheet is superposed upon a flat plate-like kneaded matter by arranging a large number of the wood fragments on the adhesive sheet and sticking them to the adhesive sheet, then the wood fragments are transferred to the flat plate-like kneaded matter by peeling the adhesive sheet from the kneaded matter and turned into a solidified matter through heating and pressurization. CONSTITUTION:Wood fragments 1 are arranged on an adhesive surface 3 of an adhesive sheet 2 and stuck to the adhesive sheet 2. Then the wood fragments 1 are arranged on a mold 4 where positioning of the wood fragments 1 can be performed and the wood fragments 1 are stuck to the adhesive surface 3 by pressing on the wood fragments 1 with the adhesive sheet 2. With this construction, a sheetlike matter 5 to which the wood fragments have been stuck is obtained. On the one hand, a kneaded matter obtained by mixing a filling agent with a curable resin solution is cast into a mold 6, leveled flat and made into a flat platelike kneaded matter 7. The sheetlike matter 5 is superposed upon the kneaded matter 7 which is in an uncured state and both are joined together. Then when only the adhesive sheet 2 is peeled off the wood fragments 1 are transferred to the kneaded matter 7. Then the resin is solidified by heating and pressurizing the same. The evenly scattered wood fragments 1 are exposed to the surface by grinding the surface of the solidified matter and a thin platelike ligneous composite 8 is obtained.

As a method for IJ construction of such wood-based composite materials, there is a method previously proposed by the present applicant in Japanese Patent Application No. 161564/1981. This method involves mixing small pieces of wood with an uncured resin liquid, pouring this mixture into a mold or the like, leveling it out, heating and pressurizing it to solidify it, and then grinding the surface of the solidified product. [Problems to be solved by the invention] However, in this manufacturing method, small pieces of wood are added to the uncured resin liquid and mixed by stirring, so the resin liquid and the small pieces of wood are not mixed uniformly, and the small pieces of wood are mixed with the resin. There was a problem in that it was difficult to uniformly disperse the powder. This is due to the fact that the size of the wood pieces is large, ranging from 3 to 50 mm, and that there is a difference in specific gravity between the resin liquid and the wood pieces. Furthermore, there was also the problem that the dispersion state of the wood chips was not reproducible, making it difficult to obtain a uniform product. (Means for Solving the Problems) In this invention, a large number of small wood pieces are arranged and adhered to an adhesive sheet to make a small wood piece adhesive sheet, and this is kneaded with a curable resin liquid mixed with a filler. Then, the adhesive sheet is peeled off and the small pieces of wood are transferred to the flat kneaded material, which is heated and pressed to solidify it, and the surface of this solidified material is ground. It was used as a solution. The present invention will be explained in detail below. The wood pieces used in this invention include wide-molecular wood such as black tongue, beech, oak, horse chestnut, Japanese ash, ash, maple, birch, and oak.
A small piece of wood such as a coniferous tree such as a tree, a cypress, a pine, a subruce, or agathis, and its shape is not particularly limited, but it is formed by cutting into a plate, rectangular parallelepiped, cube, granule, etc. Various shapes are used, such as small pieces or small pieces obtained by crushing these small pieces by mechanical impact or roller pressure. The size of this small piece 2 is, when its shape is a rectangular parallelepiped, width 3 to 7M, preferably 5 to 6 IIa, length 3 to 30M, preferably 12 to 20
Il111 thickness 0.2-3 shoes, preferably 0.2-11
From M1, the width is 20-25 mm, the length is 20-100 mm, preferably 30-60 mm, and the thickness is 0.2-3 mm, preferably 0.
A flat one with a diameter of 2 to 1 am is preferable, and if it is cylindrical, the diameter is 5 to 100 as+ and the thickness is about 0.2 to 5 mm.
If it is a crushed piece, it is desirable to have a width of 1 to 4 shoes, a length of 3 to 30 inches, preferably 5 to 20 shoes, and a thickness of 0.2 to 3 rxas, preferably about 0.2 to 1 shoe. Further, the wood pieces may contain pieces of different wood species, wood pieces of different colors, etc. Further, the small pieces of wood may be subjected to a dimensional stabilization treatment if necessary. Dimensional stabilization treatments include acetylation treatment in which small pieces of wood are treated with acetic anhydride, impregnation with polyethylene glycol or polypropylene glycol, liquid phenolic resin, unsaturated polyester resin, epoxy resin, silicone resin, urethane resin, acrylic resin, etc. There is a method of impregnating and solidifying a bag-forming resin liquid. In addition, organic halogen preservatives are mixed into polyethylene glycol or liquid resin,
Dimensional stabilization treatment and antiseptic treatment can also be performed simultaneously. In addition, wood pieces that have been partially or completely colored in one or more colors can be used, including black such as black dun, yellow such as brick and buttock, oak, etc. It is also preferable to make use of the natural color of the wood, such as the white color of beech. For the coloring treatment, a method is used in which a large number of wood pieces are immersed in a coloring solution in which a coloring agent such as a dye or a pigment is dissolved in a solvent such as water or an organic solvent, and the concentration of the coloring agent is approximately 0.1 to 10% by weight. It is also possible to heat the coloring liquid to promote penetration of the coloring liquid, thereby producing a deep color. Further, during the dimensional stabilization treatment, a coloring agent can be dissolved in various liquid resins, and the coloring treatment can be performed simultaneously with the dimensional stabilization treatment. Next, as shown in Fig. 1, such a small piece of wood 1...
are arranged on the adhesive surface 3 of the adhesive sheet 2, and the small pieces of wood 1...
・Adhere on adhesive sheet 2. The adhesive sheet 2 used here is a normal one with a base fabric coated with an adhesive on the surface. The arrangement of the small pieces of wood 1 can be done by scattering them using a coarse sieve, or directly by hand on the adhesive sheet 2.
This is done as appropriate depending on the method of placing it on top. The amount of arrangement of the small pieces of wood 1 is approximately 1 of the adhesive surface 3 of the adhesive sheet 2.
0 to 90%, preferably 70 to 90% is covered. Further, as shown in Fig. 2, the small pieces of wood 1 are placed on a mold 4 provided with small protrusions so that the small pieces of wood 1 can be positioned.
It is also possible to adopt a method of arranging the pieces of wood 1, pressing them with the adhesive sheet 2 from above, and adhering the small pieces of wood 1 to the adhesive surface 3 of the adhesive sheet 2. In this method, if such a pattern for positioning is used as the mold 4, the arrangement of the small pieces of wood 1 becomes constant, and a composite material having a uniform surface pattern can be obtained. As a result, a small wood piece adhesive sheet material 5 in which a large number of small wood pieces 1 are arranged and adhered to the adhesive sheet 2 is obtained. On the other hand, separately from this, a flat plate-shaped kneaded product is prepared in which a kneaded product of a curable resin liquid and a filler is mixed into a flat plate. The curable resin liquid used here includes unsaturated polyester resin, polyurethane resin, diallyl phthalate resin, epoxy resin, silicone resin, phenol resin, acrylic resin, etc. The state before curing is a liquid thermosetting resin. Cured resin liquid is suitable. Calcium carbonate, talc, titanium oxide, silica, glass powder, and the like are used as fillers to be added to this resin liquid. The blending amount of the filler is approximately 100 to 400 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the resin liquid. The kneaded material consisting of this resin liquid and filler therefore has a high viscosity,
Appears roughly paste-like. A curing agent for the resin is added to this kneaded material, and additives such as a coloring agent and a stabilizer can be added as necessary. Next, as shown in Fig. 3, this kneaded material is placed in a shallow mold 6
The mixed material is poured into a container and smoothed using a silicone roller or a bump to form a flat kneaded material 2. Of course, it is also possible to form a flat plate without using the mold 6. The thickness of this plate is approximately 1-2j*, preferably 1-1.5 am
While the flat kneaded material 7 is in an uncured state, a small wood piece adhesive sheet 5 is placed on the flat kneaded material 7 as shown in FIG. ... is a flat plate-shaped kneaded material 7
Lay them together so that they are in contact with each other, and press lightly to join them together. Then, by peeling off only the adhesive sheet 2, the small piece of wood 1
... remains on the surface of the flat kneaded material 7, and the small pieces of wood 1...
is transferred to the flat kneaded material 7. At this time, after the small wood piece adhesive sheet 5 and the flat kneaded material 7 are superimposed, the resin liquid is allowed to harden for several hours, the viscosity of the kneaded material 7 increases, and the movement of the small wood pieces 1 is reduced. It is preferable to peel off the adhesive sheet 2 when the adhesive sheet 2 is in a somewhat restrained state. As a result, the small pieces of wood 1 do not move, making handling easier. Next, this material is heated and pressurized to solidify the resin. The heating and pressing is performed using a heating and pressing means such as a well-known hot press. .5HPa
The temperature is 100 to 130 degrees Celsius and the time is about 2 to 5 minutes. Due to this heating and pressurization, the small pieces of wood 1... placed on the flat plate-shaped kneaded material 7 are press-fitted into this kneaded material 7, and the kneaded material 6 is hardened, so that most of the small pieces of wood 1... are A solidified material buried in the kneaded material 7 is obtained. Next, the surface of this solidified material is ground by various grinding means so that the surfaces of the solidified resin material and the buried wood pieces are flush with each other,
By exposing the wood chips to the surface, a desired, preferably book-like, wood-based composite material 8 is obtained as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6. Although the shape of this wood-based composite material is typically a flat plate, this invention is not necessarily limited to the flat plate shape, and by changing the shape of the mold surface during heating and pressing, the shape of the circumferential surface can be changed. It is also possible to form a composite material with a two-dimensional curved surface such as a spherical surface, a three-dimensional curved surface such as a spherical surface, or a complex curved surface such as a combination of multiple types of these. The composite @8 is preferably used in various products by being adhesively laminated with a wood substrate such as plywood or particle boat, or a resin substrate such as fiber-reinforced synthetic resin. In addition, since a part or most of the small pieces of wood 1... of this wood-based composite material 8 are exposed by the grinding process, the surface of this material is coated with colorless transparent or colored transparent paint such as polyester resin or polyurethane resin. It is particularly desirable to apply a coating to form a coating film. According to this method of manufacturing wood-based composite materials, small pieces of wood 1.
... is adhered to the adhesive sheet 2 and then stacked on the flat plate kneading material 7, and the small wood pieces 1... are transferred to the kneading material 7, without disrupting the arrangement of the small wood pieces 1... This allows the work to be carried out stably and easily, as well as visually inspecting the small pieces of wood 1.
Because you can adjust the placement of..., small piece of wood 1...
Uniform dispersion of the particles is also possible. In addition, the small pieces of wood 1 do not sink deeply into the flat kneaded material 7 (the small pieces of wood 1 can be concentrated on the surface thereof, and the small pieces of wood 1...
A wood-based composite material with a beautiful surface even with a small amount of...8
can be obtained. (Example) 100 parts of uncured unsaturated polyester resin liquid, 300 parts of calcium carbonate, and 1 part of yellow pigment were blended, kneaded, poured into a mold 6, and smoothed with a roller to a thickness of 1 part.
.. A 5 awt flat plate condition III'#J7 was used. On the other hand, beech, oak, etc. have a width of 10 to 20 mm and a length of 10 to 2 mm.
Cut into small pieces with a size of 01m1 and a thickness of 1 to 1.5jII+, and after drying this, immerse it in an uncured unsaturated polyester resin solution, impregnate it with the resin solution, and leave it at room temperature to a semi-cured state. The wood pieces 1... were manually scattered and arranged on the adhesive sheet 2. The amount of spraying is 85% on the entire surface of adhesive sheet 2.
They were arranged uniformly so that ~90% of the area was hidden. This was superimposed on the flat plate-shaped kneaded material 7, lightly pressed with a roller and left open at room temperature for 3 o'clock, and then the adhesive sheet 2 was peeled off. Next, this material was heated to a pressure of I HPa, m using a hot press.
Degree 100℃, time If! After heating and pressurizing for 15 minutes to solidify, the surface of the small piece of wood 1 was ground with a sander, and an unsaturated polyester resin transparent paint was applied to create a beautiful piece with a thickness of about 1.5 mm. A wood-based composite material was obtained. [Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the method for manufacturing a wood composite material of the present invention is as follows:
A large number of small wood pieces are arranged on an adhesive sheet and adhered to make an adhesive sheet of small wood pieces, which is then superimposed on a flat kneaded material made of a kneaded mixture of a curable resin liquid and a filler, and then the adhesive sheet is attached. The peeled wood pieces are transferred to a flat kneaded material, which is heated and pressurized to solidify it, and then the surface of this solidified product is ground, making it easy to ensure uniform dispersion of the wood chips. It is possible to maintain a constant state of dispersion of small pieces of wood, and to obtain a wood-based composite material with good surface pattern reproducibility. In addition, the sinking of small pieces of wood into the III material is small and they can be concentrated on the surface, resulting in the effect that the amount of use of small pieces of wood can be reduced.
