It is an important civil engineering work that is indispensable to maintain the strength of retaining walls, tunnels, etc., so that water that has permeated into the embankment or backfill of retaining walls, tunnels, etc. can be drained out sequentially. These are called backfill drainage works and back drainage works, respectively, and are usually done by attaching an appropriate drainage material to the backfilling part of the retaining wall and the back of the tunnel, and connecting a drainage pipe leading to the outside below. Ru. Since such drainage materials are completely buried in the soil with embankment or backfill around them, they require not only efficient drainage performance but also strong enough soil to withstand underground pressure. It is something.

A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is a partially cutaway perspective view of the preferred embodiment of the present invention, and Fig. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view showing an example of the same in use. That is, in the present invention, a large number of protrusions 11 are provided on the outer surface, and a large number of small holes 12 are provided on at least one side.
two parallel synthetic resin plates 1,
1, and a plurality of corrugated strip plates having irregularities formed alternately along the longitudinal direction, which are clamped and fixed at intervals between the two plates 1, 1 with their width directions perpendicular and without contacting each other. A cavity 3 defined by the two plates 1, 1 and the plurality of partition walls 2 is continuous along the longitudinal direction of the partition wall 2. Both ends 31
This drainage material for civil engineering is made of synthetic resin and is characterized in that the small holes 12 communicate with the outside. Fig. 1 shows that the overall shape of the drainage material P having the above structure is a rectangular plate (however, the corners and rear end of the upper front plate are cut out), and the outer surfaces of the plates 1, 1 are cut out. Spaced protrusions 11...
and a partition wall 2 clamped and fixed between the plates 1 and 1.

Therefore, both ends 31 of the cavity 3 formed by the plates 1, 1 and the partition walls 2 correspond to both ends in the longitudinal direction of the drainage material P (however, since the rear end is notched, it is not shown in the figure). does not appear). Moreover, although the small holes 12 are drilled in the lower plate 1 of the two parallel plates 1, 1 in the figure, this does not exclude that they may be drilled in both. Further, side walls 13,
13 is attached, and this is extremely suitable for maintaining the strength of the width direction ends of the plates 1, 1, but depending on the application, it may not necessarily be necessary, and the Although the side walls 13, 13 are provided with small holes 131, 131, these are not necessarily required.

The drainage material P having the above structure is made of units of semi-rigid or rigid polyethylene resin, polypropylene resin, or polyvinyl chloride resin, or a composite thereof, and consists of upper and lower synthetic resin plates having outwardly protruding ridges. In between, a band-shaped plate of the synthetic resin with a waveform formed in advance along the longitudinal direction is inserted perpendicular to the width direction, and these are continuously integrated (if the side wall 13 is provided, at the same time) ), and then the small holes 12 . . . , 131 . . . etc. can be formed as appropriate. The synthetic resin raw material used may be either transparent or opaque, and the thickness a of the plate 1, the thickness b of the partition wall 2, the distance c between the partition walls 2, 2, the width dimension d of the partition wall 2, and the waveform 1 span of the partition wall 2. Length e etc. are respectively a=1.0~10
mm, b=1.0~10mm, c=20~150mm, d=20~
200 mm and e=10 to 300 mm are suitable, and furthermore, the width, height and number of the protrusions 11 are 3 to 20 mm and 3 to 20 mm, respectively.
mm and 40 or more lines/1m are appropriate. The overall shape of the drainage material P is 1 to 4 meters long and 0.3 to 2 meters wide.

Fig. 2 shows an example in which the above drainage material P is applied to a backfill drainage work for a retaining wall.To briefly describe the construction procedure, small holes 12... are bored in the above drainage material P after the retaining wall W is installed. The plate 1 which is not attached to the retaining wall W is placed on the retaining wall W side (this does not apply if the small holes 12 are bored in both sides) and is attached to the back side of the retaining wall W with the longitudinal direction facing up and down. Next, the backfilling portion is filled with embankment S and the drainage material P is completely buried in the embankment S. At this time, the above drainage material P
Needless to say, a porous drain pipe A or a drain groove (not shown) or the like communicating with the outside is adjacent to the lower end of the drain tube.

In the above configuration and its usage mode, the above drainage material P
, each of the cavities 3 defined by the plates 1, 1 and the partition wall 2 exists continuously over the entire length in the longitudinal direction, and both ends 31 communicate with the outside, and Plate 1 has many small holes 12
... has been drilled, so water in the embankment S passes through the small holes 12 ... and cavity 3 ... and the drain pipe A and is sequentially removed from the retaining wall W when it is buried in the backfilling part of the retaining wall W. is efficiently discharged. Moreover, although the drainage material P is made of synthetic resin, the plates 1,
1 are connected by a plurality of partition walls 2... and a large number of protrusions 11... are provided on the outer surface thereof,
These partition walls are significantly reinforced and have an outstanding earth pressure strength that can sufficiently withstand the enormous earth pressure of the embankment S. Furthermore, the partition walls 2 are formed with corrugations along the longitudinal direction. Therefore, unlike the case where a simple straight plate is used as a partition wall, it has excellent buckling strength against shearing force, and the above-mentioned earth pressure resistance strength is further strengthened. Incidentally, the above dimensions of the drainage material P made of hard polyethylene resin are a = 3 mm, b = 3.0 mm,
The buckling strength when c = 25 mm, d = 25 mm, and e = 60 mm is approximately 1600 Kg/m 2 , which is strong enough to be extremely suitably used as a backfill drainage material for the retaining wall. It is something.

In the above, an example was described in which it is used in civil engineering construction as a back-filling drainage system for a retaining wall, but it is obvious that it can also be applied as a back-side drainage system for a tunnel, or as a so-called culvert guiding/drainage material.

であると云える。
As mentioned above, the drainage material of the present invention is made of synthetic resin, so it is lightweight, extremely suitable for transportation and handling during civil engineering construction, and is inexpensive. Moreover, it can be held between plates so that the width direction is perpendicular. Due to the synergistic effect of the fixed corrugated strip partition wall and the ridges formed on the outer surface of the plate, it is extremely strong and has excellent drainage efficiency, making it suitable for use in retaining walls, back drainage works of tunnels, back drainage works, and other civil engineering works. If this is applied to drainage construction, the effect will be remarkable, and it can be said that the utility value is extremely large.
