Shiitake mushrooms are particularly prized for their flavor, so if the drying process is not properly managed according to the size and moisture content of the raw shiitake mushrooms being processed, the quality will deteriorate and the product value will be lost.

However, when shiitake mushrooms are dried using the conventional dryer described above, the warm air passes through Ebira 2 while rising from below, so the shiitake mushrooms stored in the Ebira on the lower stage dry quickly. The drying of shiitake mushrooms stored in the upper tier will be delayed. As a result, the shiitake mushrooms in the lower tier become overdried, and the drying time for the shiitake mushrooms in the upper tier becomes excessively long, resulting in a significant deterioration in quality.

In order to solve these problems, attempts have been made to guide warm air to the sides of the drying chamber 1 to circulate the inside of the drying chamber horizontally, but this method has the following problems. That is, in the case of relatively small shiitake mushrooms, the warm air passes through the shrimp, slowing down the drying process. In addition, in the case of relatively large shiitake mushrooms, warm air flows while touching one side of the umbrella, causing uneven drying of the umbrella, causing the umbrella to twist or bend, reducing its commercial value.

In order to achieve the above object, the multi-stage shiitake mushroom ventilation dryer of the present invention has (i) a ventilation path extending from below to above through shiitake mushroom containers arranged in multiple stages, and (ii) a ventilation path that bypasses the above-mentioned ventilation path. (iii) a plurality of horizontal ventilation paths branching from the middle of the bypass ventilation path and running along the shiitake mushroom container; ) A damper that distributes the warm air generated in the hot air stove to the ventilation passages in (i) and (ii) above, and (b) a plurality of ventilation passages from the ventilation passage in (ii) to (iii) above. A damper is provided for distributing warm air to each of the containers, so that the upward ventilation and horizontal ventilation passing through the shiitake mushroom container can be freely controlled as the drying state of the shiitake mushrooms progresses.

The drying chamber 1 is similar to the conventional device in that the interior can be ventilated in the vertical direction, but a wind tunnel 7 is provided adjacent to one side of the drying chamber 1, and the drying chamber 1 is installed on the side opposite to this wind tunnel 7. Multiple adjustment dampers 8
A to 8c are arranged vertically. Exhaust dampers 9a to 9d are provided on the side faces facing the adjustment dampers 8a to 8c, respectively. Thereby, a horizontal ventilation path is formed within the drying chamber 1.

A flow path switching damper 10 is provided so that hot air sent out from the hot air stove 3 as indicated by arrow B can be selectively distributed between the wind tunnel 7 and the lower space 1a of the drying chamber. Furthermore, an adjustment damper 11 is provided to restrict the flow path between the inlet side 1a- 1 and the back side 1a- 2 of the lower space 1a. 12 is a circulation adjustment damper provided in the upper ventilation passage 6a.

The ventilation dryer configured as described above operates the flow path switching damper 10 to direct warm air to the lower space 1a of the drying chamber.
and the wind tunnel 7. Furthermore, by operating the adjustment damper 10, the warm air guided into the lower space 1a can be arbitrarily distributed in the direction of arrow C and the direction of arrow C', and the damper 8 guided into the wind tunnel 7 can be arbitrarily distributed.
It can be distributed to any horizontal flow path by opening/closing operations of a, 8b, and 8c.

次に、その用例を示す。 An example of its usage is shown below.

Shiitake mushrooms (Hiwako) collected on a sunny day have a small cap diameter, so operate the flow path switching damper 10 to guide 2/3 of the warm air to the wind tunnel 7, and horizontally ventilate it to the 5 to 6 tiers of Ebira from above. give. At the same time, 1/3 of the hot air is sent into the lower space 1a, and upward ventilation is also used as shown by arrows C and C'.

In this case, due to the inertia of the air, arrow
Since the flow rate of C' is likely to be large, the adjusting damper 11 is operated to divide the air volume evenly. In this way, when the drying of the shiitake mushrooms in the upper 5 to 6 tiers has progressed by about half, all the hot air is guided to the lower space 1a to create an upward ventilation state and the drying is completed. In the case of Hiwako, this operation dries the entire amount uniformly in a short time.

In addition, in the case of shiitake mushrooms (Ameko) collected on a rainy day, all warm air is initially guided into the wind tunnel 7, and the amount of ventilation in the upper stage is increased and the amount of ventilation in the lower stage is adjusted to be lower, and then the air is distributed horizontally. Ventilate. In this way, when the drying of the upper 10 stages has progressed to about 60%, the mushrooms will shrink and will no longer obstruct ventilation, so at this point all hot air will be switched to upward ventilation to complete drying. In Ameko's case, this operation allows everyone to dry evenly in a short time.

As described in detail above, according to the multi-stage shiitake mushroom ventilation dryer of the present invention, the shiitake mushrooms stored in each shrimp in the drying chamber can be dried evenly in a relatively short time, and the quality of the shiitake mushrooms can be maintained and the drying process of shiitake mushrooms can be improved. There are many ways in which this technology can contribute to improving efficiency.
