Abstract
Description
この発明は、エツジ部などの防錆方法に関し、さらに詳
しくは、自動車の車体溝成部材のもつエツジ部、スポッ
ト部、溶接部などの部位の塗膜の形成が困難な場所の防

自動1!車体の構成部材のうち、エツジ部と云われる先
鋭形状の部分をもつものは、エツジ部に塗膜の形成が著
しく困難であって、エツジ部分の塗膜は第2図に示すよ
うに塗膜1が平坦部分2側に引張られて薄くなっている
。
エツジ部分は雨水や風雪の影響をもつとも受は易いこと
から本来ならば、どの個所よりも厚い塗膜が形成される
必要がある個所であって、このエツジ部における錆の発
生を防ぐために構成部材全体の塗膜の厚さを少なくして
も厚くしてエツジ部に塗膜を残すと云う消極的対策が採
用されているにすぎない。
また、構成部材全体を防錆鋼板材を用いて構成すること
も行われている。
【発明が解決しようとする問題点]
ところが、塗膜の形成が困難なエツジ部などは、前述の
ように雨水や雪などによる腐食作用を受は易く、しかも
、そのエツジ部は通常の注意力では気付かないことの方
が多く、知らず知らずの間に錆の発生を許してしまう問
題があった。
防錆鋼板材を用いた場合、コストアップは否めず、また
、その鋼板材は塗膜の付着力が小さく耐久性に乏しいな
どの問題があった。
[問題点を解決するための技術的手段]そこで、この発
明は腐食され易いエツジ部などを厚い塗膜で保護し、し
かも、自!71車車体の8I或部材のill塗装工程に
おいて確実に厚い塗膜が形成されるようにしようとする
もので、エツジ部などをもつ自動車の車体構成部材に対
し、化成処理後、亜鉛含有高粘度の防錆プライマ塗装を
少なくともエツジ部などに施し、その後N看塗装するこ
とで防錆プライマ塗膜上にN着塗膜を形成することを特
徴とするものである。
【実 施 例1
以下、この発明の実施例を添付した第1図によって説明
する。先ず、自動車構成部材10仝体を化成処理により
表面の油膜や汚れを除去する[工]。
そして、化成処理された自aSの車体構成部材10全体
にII燻焼付時流動性を抑えた亜鉛含有高粘度塗料12
(以下、エツジ防錆プライマと云う)をエツジ部11を
含む全体に塗布する[II]。
その後、自動車の車体構成部材10全体に電着塗装を施
す[I[I]。
このとき、エツジ部11に塗布されているエツジ防錆プ
ライマのもつ特性、即ち、亜鉛の犠牲防食効果と、導電
性により、電着塗膜が厚く形成される。最後に、塗装焼
付13を施す[IV ]。
【発明の効果]
以上の説明から明らかなように、この発明によれば次の
ような効果がある。
(へ)、エツジ部、スポット部、溶接部などの防錆力が
向上する。

できるコストダウンが可能である。
(C)、防錆鋼板は塗膜の付着性に難点があるが塗膜の
付着性が向上する。
