Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate a changeover between direct loading and external loading, by prohibiting the horizontal movement of a bottom paper-leading plate so as to allow it free vertical movement on the floor face of paper feeding position, and permitting a top paper-loading plate horizontal movement in a position slightly above a down-limit. CONSTITUTION:The horizontal movement of a bottom paper-loading plate 21 is prohibitted on the floor face of paper feeding position, and its vertical movement is made free. A top paper-loading plate 25 being free to move vertically in an upper position is allowed to move horizontally in a position slightly above a down-limit. Both paper loading plates 21, 25 are fixed due to surface pressure caused by the ascending motion of the ascending chain 31 of the top paper-loading plate 25. The changeover in the bottom paper-loading plate 21 is conducted such that its engagement with a lifting lever 30 is changed over to the bottom paper-loading plate 21 from the pallet 15 side of a hand truck 11 by a hook 33 in rotational movement. The hand truck 11 is loaded with paper by an external paper loading device and then allowed to roll on rails 10 to move to a paper feeding side frame 1. Hence the changeover between direct loading and external loading are conducted easily only through the rotational moving operation of the hook 33 and the vertical operation for fixing and releasing of both paper loading plates 21, 25.

As a device that loads paper to be fed to the printing unit of a sheet-fed printing press onto a good paper stacking board set in the paper feeding device of the printing press, it is necessary to stop the machine every time it runs out of paper and stack the paper on the paper stacking board of the paper feeding device. There is a so-called direct stacking device that stacks paper directly upwards while aligning the edges, and a paper feeding device that stops the paper that has been stacked during printing onto the paper stacking board of a nine paper stacking device installed outside the printing machine. The latter type of equipment is widely used because it can shorten paper stacking time.

This type of paper stacking device, for example, as proposed by the present applicant and disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 60-6024, involves placing a pallet on a trolley at the paper stacking position, and then using a ruler to measure the edge of the paper. Paper is stacked while aligning the paper, and after stacking, the trolley loaded with paper is pulled into the paper feeding position, leaving the trolley alone and only the pallet loaded with paper is raised together with a lift bar to feed the paper. This type of device is suitable for printing with a large number of sheets (10 sheets) and few paper size changes, and the direct stacking device allows paper to be transported like a rondo using a commercially available hand lift. Therefore, it is suitable for printing where the number of printed sheets is small and the paper size is frequently changed.

However, such conventional direct loading equipment and off-machine loading equipment are each dedicated machines, and major printing companies with a large number of equipment can install these separately as dedicated machines, This is difficult for small and medium-sized printing companies, and they are forced to install only one type of paper stacking device.
There is a problem in that depending on the number of sheets printed, the device becomes inappropriate and the workability of paper stacking is significantly reduced. Furthermore, if an attempt was made to use both devices, there was a problem in that a great deal of effort and a long time were required each time the switch was made.

In order to solve such problems, in the present invention,
A lower paper stack is placed on the floor at the paper feed position so that it can be raised and lowered with its position controlled in the horizontal direction, and an upper paper stack that can be raised and lowered is placed on top of it from the lowering limit position and above in each horizontal direction. In addition, the upper paper stack is equipped with a braking member that fixes both paper stacks with surface pressure in conjunction with the rising movement from the movable position, and the lower paper stack is equipped with a braking member that fixes the paper stacks by rotating. A hook is provided to switch the engagement of the lifting bar from the pallet side on the trolley to the lower paper stack side.

In the case of direct stacking, raise both paper stacks slightly to make the upper paper stack movable relative to the lower paper stack, turn the hook to engage the lifting bar with the lower paper stack, and then lower the upper paper stack. When paper is fed after stacking and positioning (pallet) K paper on the paper stack, the lift bar rises together with the pallet loaded with paper and the upper and lower paper stacks fixed by surface pressure. In this case, when stacking paper when the paper stack is lowered, the upper paper stack is movable, so there is no problem in aligning the paper, but when the upper paper stack rises slightly, it is braked by surface pressure and cannot move horizontally. This ensures stable paper feeding.

At the other end of the roller shaft 45, a wedge 51 fixed to the lower paper stack 21 side and a wedge 52 whose sharp ends face each other are fixed. A holder 53 with a guide 54 on both sides and an upper paper stack 25
It is interposed in a floating state between the two. Reference numeral 54 denotes a brake plate made of an elastic material such as rubber in the shape of a disc and fixedly held on the holder 53. The brake plate 54 faces the lower surface of the upper paper stack 25, and is rotated by the action of its inclined surface as the wedge 52 advances and retreats. It is configured to move up and down together with the holder 53. Due to this structure, when the paper stacks 25 and 21 are lowered to a position higher than the lowering limit, the rollers 42 move to a stopper 56 provided on the ground side, as shown in FIG. , the lever 43 rotates to a horizontal position, and the large diameter part of the cam 44 pushes the roller 48, so the roller shaft 45 moves to the right in the figure while compressing the compression coil spring 50, and the wedge 51 As the holder 53 and the brake plate 54 are lowered by the action of .52 and the surface pressure is released, the upper paper stack 25 becomes movable in each horizontal direction. Note that this lowering limit is at a higher position than the seventh pin 22, 26 is still in the pin receivers 23, 2.
7, and is the paper stacking position in the case of direct stacking. Further, when both paper stacks 21 and 25 rise from this position, when the lever 43 leaves the stopper 56 and assumes the hanging position as shown in FIG. In particular, the roller shaft 45 moves to the left in the figure due to the elastic force of the compression coil spring 50, and the wedge 5
1.52, the brake plate 55 rises and brakes the upper stacked paper board 25 so that it cannot be moved due to the surface alignment. 2 and 8 are a plurality of rulers fixed to the corner stay 2 to align the front ends of the sheets of paper 16.

The operation of the sheet feeding and stacking device configured as above will be explained. First, in the case of direct stacking, the hook 33 is rotated to the solid line position to engage the lifting bar 30 and the lower paper stack 21, and then the lifting bar 33 is raised by winding up the lifting chain 31. When both paper stacks 21 and 25 are slightly raised until the pin 26 comes out of the pin receiver 2T, the roller 42 lands on the stopper 56 and the lever 43 is in the horizontal position, as described above. The surface pressure from the brake plate 54 is released, and the upper paper stack 25 is supported by the spherical bearing 24, and the lower paper stack 21 is fixed in the horizontal direction together with the lifting bar 30.
It can move freely in all directions horizontally. Upper paper laminate 25
Place the pallet 15 on top, align the edges of the paper 16 with a ruler 5T, and then load the paper 16 onto the pallet 15.
When raised, the lifting bar 30 moves the upper and lower paper stacks 25,
21 and the pallet 15 loaded with the paper stack, and the paper feeding is started by switching the raising from manual to automatic. In this case, since the upper paper stack 25 is horizontally movable during paper stacking, there is no problem with paper alignment, and since the upper paper stack 25 is fixed by surface pressure in the raised position, the upper paper stack 25 is fixed by surface pressure. The paper becomes stable.

Next, in the case of loading outside the machine, rotate the hook 33 to the chain line position to disengage the lifting bar 30 and the lower paper stack 21,
The upper and lower paper stacks 25, 21 are lowered to the lower limit where the pin 26 engages with the pin receiver 2T. In this case, the upper paper laminate 2
5 is released from the surface pressure, but does not move in the horizontal direction due to the engagement of the pin 26. After preparing in this manner, at a paper stacking position outside the machine, paper 16 is stacked on the pallet 15 while aligning the paper ends with a ruler 1T, the ruler 1T is opened, and the trolley 11 is advanced on the rail 10. At this time, the upper paper stack 25 is positioned by the pin 26 so that the side end is in line with and at the same height as the rail 10, so the trolley 11 is smoothly pulled onto the upper paper stack 25. Therefore, when a pair of paper stacking bars 36 are inserted onto the bar receivers 35 of the lifting bar 30 and the lifting bar 30 is raised by the hoisting chain 310, the lifting bar 30 is moved through the paper stacking bar 36 to the pallet loaded with paper. 15, and the upper and lower paper stacks 25
, 21 and the trolley 11 are left at the lower limit position. That is, the upper paper stack 25 only serves as a rail. In this case, the upper and lower paper stacks 25, 21 are connected to the pins 26, 22.
Since the position is fixed, it is stable.
will be drawn in. Switching between direct loading and external loading requires only a rotational operation of the seven hooks 33 and a slight lifting and lowering of both paper stacks 25 and 21, and can be easily switched in a short time.

As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, in a paper feed stacking device of a sheet-fed printing press, the lower paper stack is horizontally regulated on the floor surface of the paper feed position and can be raised and lowered. Place the upper paper stack, which can be raised and lowered, on top of it, and place it a little further than the lowering limit position.
The upper paper stack is placed so as to be movable in each horizontal direction, and the first upper paper stack is provided with a braking member that fixes both paper stacks by surface pressure in conjunction with the rising movement from this movable position.
The lower paper stack is equipped with a hook that rotates to switch the engagement of the lifting bar from the pallet side of the trolley to the lower paper stack side, so the structure is simple and there is no need to tighten bolts. The paper stacking device can be converted into a direct stacking type or an external loading type without using any tools by simple operations such as rotation operation of the paper stack and lifting/lowering operation for fixing and non-fixing of both paper stacks on the ground. Since it can be switched, it can be used for both types with a simple operation, improving versatility, and the effect is extremely large. In addition, when directly stacking paper, the upper paper stack is movable, and paper alignment is performed smoothly and with high precision. When paper is fed, the upper paper stack is fixed by braking, so paper feeding is stable and the paper is fed smoothly. Improves paper performance.
