の範囲に止まる位置まで開口部2上方から押入す
るとボール支承部5と、小径インキ流通孔6およ
びインキ誘導溝7の三者が同時に成形されること
になる。つまりパンチ8の押入により開口部2内
面の肉がしごかれてボール支承部5を構成する保
持部5aと底部5bが成形されるわけであるが、
この成形過程でしごかれた肉は開口部2の外周面
を挾持した部分において内方へ突出し、これとは
逆に挾持部3aの端面3b間の間隙4に対応する
部分の肉は外方へ突出しその結果、ボール支承部
5の底部5bに略三角形の貫通孔が成形されるこ
とになる。この略三角形の貫通孔はボール支承部
5の底部5bの肉厚相当の長さにわたつて成形さ
れ、その大部分が小径インキ流通孔6となるが、
比較的狭隘な溝状の部分に成形されるコーナー部
がインキ誘導溝7となる(第3図参照)。しかし
て、このインキ誘導溝7は小径インキ流通孔6の
インキ供給作用に加担してボール支承部5へのイ
ンキの導通を助長する。
