本発明は、ボールペンの製造方法に係り、ボールペンの
ペン芯体挾持用の口金の製造時間の短縮、製造設備の簡
略化及びコスト低廉性、及び前記口金の組み立て工程の

[発明が解決しようとする問題点]
前述した口金2′が外筒3′に螺着手段により固定され
る従来手法にあっては、通常、合成樹脂材料から成形さ
れる外筒3′の先端に外筒螺子部3’ aを形成するた
めに外筒の梗脂成形金型が複雑となり且つ製作コスト高
となる問題点、また、通常、真鍮からなる口金2′を、
長尺真鍮丸棒を基材として、小型自動旋盤等を用いた機
械加工により成形するために、口金2′の内外面の切削
及び口金螺子部2′ aの螺刻に長時間の加工時間が掛
かり口金のコスト高を生起し且つ切削屑の大量発生及び
それに伴い材料ロスが発生する問題点、さらには、口金
2′と外筒3′の先端との固定組み付けに、非効率的且
つ複雑な装置からなる螺合工程を経ねばならぬ問題点等

る問題点を解決すべくなされたものであり、特に口金の
成形及びその固定方法に工夫を図り、以ってボールペン
製造上の製造時間の短縮、低コスト化及び組立工程の効
率化等をなし得るボールペンの製造方法を提供すること

それに伴いボールペン製造上の製造設備の縮少化及び部
品コストの低減等を図ることができる。実際に、従来方
法たる機械加工による口金の製造速度は300ケ/ll
r (自動旋盤1台当たり)であるが、本発明のプレス
加工による口金の製造速度は3600ケ/Hr(自動プ
レス機械1白当たり)が見込まれ、両者の相違は多大な
