トする場合、第4a図に示す如く前記裏当金本体
1の円周方向両端部に配置し、溶接終了後、溶接
治具を取外す時に円周方向外方へ向けて移動可能
ならしめるようにしてある。この裏当金2の内壁
にもスラグ溝2′が設けてある。3は分割裏当金
2を移動可能ならしめるための連結板であり、こ
の連結板3は、本体側固定ピン3a、分割裏当金
側固定ピン3bにより裏当金本体1と分割裏当金
2に枢着されている。なお、固定ピン3b側には
長穴3cを設けてあり、図に矢印で示す方向へ約
5mm程度摺動することができる。4は裏当全本体
を収容する固定箱であつて、これの鋼材長手方向
両側には夫々鋼材(鉄筋等)に本溶接治具を固定
するための治具支持装置が設けてある。該固定
箱4の底部には裏当金本体1を固定する固定ねじ
7が設けてある。また、分割裏当金2の外側には
固定板蝶番6が設けてあり、第4b図に示す如く
分割固定板5が夫々円周方向へ180度倒伏するよ
うになつている。なお、第4b図には、前記連結
板3による分割裏当金2の摺動動作も示してあ
る。9は前記治具支持装置の一部をなす鋼材支
持板であつて、前記固定箱4の鋼材長手方向両側
にその延長線上に設けてある。この鋼材支持板9
にはこれと対向する締付板10が設けられてお
り、夫々の円周方向一側は締付板蝶番11により
反転可能に固定され、他側は止め金具12により
錠止めされるようになつている。13は押え駒で
あり、14はその締付ボルトであつて、共に前記
締付板10の円周方向ほぼ中央位置に設けてあつ
て、これにより鋼材に本治具を締付けて支持が行
われる。その際鋼材突合せ部には所定のルート間
隔を保持することを忘れてはならない。

図に示す如く裏当金本体1の円周方向両端部に分
割裏当金2を夫々セツトする。いずれの鉄筋姿勢
であつても安定して確実に装着することができ
る。次に図の上方から鉄筋のルート間隔に溶接棒
を挿入して裏当金本体1の底面側、つまり鉄筋の
下側から連続的に上進溶接を行う。この場合に発
生するスラグは、溶接中央部で裏当金本体1と被
溶接鋼材との間隙から第5図に示すスラグ溝1′
へ順次流入して、連続的なエンクローズ溶接の妨
げにはならない。なおスラグ溝1′,2′の深さは
5mm程度あればよい。さらに溶接が上進して鉄筋
上面付近まで到達したとき、鉄筋表面部よりも若
干余盛をするので、従来の治具では裏当金が鉄筋
から取外し困難であつたが、本考案の治具の場合
には、治具支持装置の締付ボルト14をゆるめ
て締付板10を開放したのち、分割固定板5を外
方へ倒し、次いで左右の分割裏当金2を円周方向
外方へ向けて摺動させる。こうすれば裏当金本体
