【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は、ゴルフクラブのシヤフトに装着され
るグリツプに関するものである。

ような欠点を有する。即ち、例えば硬質ゴムのみ
からなる硬質グリツプの場合には、ゴムが硬質ゆ
えに耐摩耗性がよく、強固に握ることができ、し
かもボールのインパクト時にグリツプのねじれが
生じにくい為、クラブヘツドのフエース面がぶれ
ることなく安定したスイングが可能である反面、
ボールのインパクト時の衝撃の緩衝が不充分であ
るため衝撃の大部分がグリツプを通して手首に伝
わり、プレーヤーに不快感を与えるという欠点が
ある。これに対し、軟質ゴムのみからなる軟質グ
リツプは、ゴムが軟質であるため衝撃の緩衝は充
分であるが、表面が摩耗し易く、また強固に握り
にくいという難点があり、しかもボールのインパ
クト時にグリツプのねじれが起り、クラブヘツド
のフエース面がぶれてしまうという欠点もある。
次に、主体が硬質ゴムからなり、その外周に軟質
ゴム層を形成したグリツプは、シヤフトに結合す
る主体部分が硬質ゴムであるためボールのインパ
クト時のねじれが発生せず、また強固にグリツプ
を握ることができ、しかも外周に軟質ゴム層を設
けたために衝撃を緩衝することもできるが、外側
が軟質ゴム故に耐摩耗性の点に難点があり、軟質
ゴム層が剥離する恐れもある。他方、主体が軟質
ゴムからなり、その外周に硬質ゴム層を形成した
グリツプは、外側を硬質にしたことにより耐摩耗
性がよく、また強固にグリツプを握ることができ
るとともに、主体を軟質ゴムとしたため衝撃の緩
衝も充分に行なわれる反面、シヤフトに直接結合
する部分がこの軟質ゴム体であるため、ボールの
インパクト時にグリツプにねじれが生じ、安定し
たスイングができない欠点がある。

ような、外周面上に等間隔に並んだ複数の凹部9
が設けられた筒状の第1硬質ゴム体10を成形す
る。凹部9はそれぞれ細長い台形状で第1硬質ゴ
ム筒体10の中心軸線に対して平行に第1硬質ゴ
ム筒体10の長手方向に伸びている。次に、この
第1硬質ゴム筒体10の各凹部9内に軟質ゴムシ

る。第1硬質ゴム筒体10と第2硬質ゴム体13
は同一の硬質ゴムからなり、一体化されてグリツ
プ3の本体である硬質ゴム筒体4を形成し、また
軟質体6は前述した様にこの硬質ゴム筒体4の中
心軸線に対して平行に硬質ゴム筒体4の長手方向
に伸び、且つ硬質ゴム筒体4の外層部と内層部の
中間の円周線上に等間隔で配置される。
