The so-called rubber grip, which is manufactured by vulcanization molding of a material whose main ingredients are the like, and the so-called leather grip, which is made by wrapping natural leather or synthetic leather in a spiral shape around the surface of the club shaft, are widely known.
However, in the case of the above-mentioned rubber grips and leather grips, it was difficult to distinguish the degree of wear on the grip surface, and as the amount of wear increased with long-term use, the grip surface became slippery.
This caused the swing to become unstable. Furthermore, the golf club may slip out of the user's hand during the swing, which is dangerous.

However, these grips are not intended to detect the degree of wear on the outer layer; therefore, the outer and inner layers are generally made of the same colored material, making it difficult to distinguish the degree of wear on the grip surface. It was becoming difficult.

2 is two layer parts 13 and 14 concentric with the outer peripheral surface.
It has a multilayer structure consisting of two layer parts 1 and 1.
3 and 14 are colored in different colors. Although the colors can be freely selected, here, the inner layer portion 13 is colored red and the outer layer portion 14 is colored black.

To explain this manufacturing method, first, a vulcanizing agent, a pigment, a vulcanization accelerator, a reinforcing agent, etc. are added to styrene-butadiene rubber, the mixture is kneaded, and then rolled out with a roller to form a rubber sheet. In this case, if a red pigment is added, a red rubber sheet will be obtained, and if a black pigment is added, a black rubber sheet will be obtained. Next, a red rubber sheet, which will become the inner layer, is wrapped around the core of the grip mold, and a black rubber sheet, which will become the outer layer, is further covered around its outer periphery. At this time, by changing the number of turns of the rubber sheet, the inner layer portion and the outer layer portion can be made to have arbitrary thicknesses. Thereafter, this grip material is placed in a grip mold, and heated and pressurized to vulcanize and mold the grip.

This makes it possible to clearly distinguish the degree of wear on the grip surface. Therefore, it becomes easy to judge when to replace the grip, and the grip can be replaced before the grip surface becomes slippery.

For example, as shown in FIG.
It is also possible to have a multilayer structure consisting of three layer parts 15, 16, and 17. In this embodiment, the three layer sections 15, 16, and 17 may all have different colors, but the outermost layer section 15 and the innermost layer section 17 may have the same color and the middle layer section 16 may have a different color. It's okay. With such a multilayer structure of three or more layers, it becomes possible to detect the degree of wear on the grip surface step by step.

Since the layer portions are characterized by different colors, it is possible to provide a grip for a golf club in which the degree of wear on the grip surface can be easily and clearly distinguished. Therefore, it is now possible to easily judge when it is time to replace the grip, and by replacing the grip before the grip surface becomes slippery, it is possible to stabilize the swing and prevent the club shaft from coming off during the swing. This means that you can do it.
