Abstract

PURPOSE:Particles of thermosetting silicone resin of a specific particle size are coated with superfine particles of titanium oxide, iron oxide or other pigments on their surface, thus having good hydrophilic nature and surface gloss and showing excellent smoothness and spreadability as a cosmetic. CONSTITUTION:Particles of thermosetting silicone resin of 1-5 micron diameter and superfine particles of pigments such as titanium oxide, iron oxide and others of 0.1-0.001 micron particle size are mixed by stirring, until they are thoroughly dispersed, then rubbed with each other under pressure to give a thermosetting silicon resin coated with a pigment. The product is mixed with oil, pigments, perfumes; when needed, the mixture is adjusted in its particle size to give the objective cosmetic. The resultant cosmetic is all excellent in color, gloss, ultraviolet-cutting effect, spreadability on skins, compatibility to other kinds of cosmetics and fitness to skins. Further, the pigment-coating layer is treated with a fatty acid, then another coating layer is formed thereon to increase the oil absorption.

Therefore, nylon powder, which is currently said to be the best thermoplastic resin, has an average grain size of 110ξD, so when it is run through a screen mill for mixing, its spherical surface will be damaged. At the same time, even if the material is temporarily coated with two pigments, the impact of the hammer of the screen mill may cause partial peeling or uneven thickness adhesion, reducing the product value.

(Means for solving the problem) This application replaces thermoplastic resin with thermosetting silicone resin, changes the hydrophobicity and water repellency of silicone resin to hydrophilicity by coating with ultrafine pigment particles, and gives a glossy surface to the silicone resin. The surface of spherical particles of thermosetting silicone resin is coated with ultrafine titanium oxide, iron oxide, and other pigments to give it a smooth feel and spreadability.

(Function) Thermosetting silicone resin with a particle size of 1 to 5 microns is mixed and stirred to be sufficiently dispersed, and then left to stand, with a particle size of 0.1 to 0.0, ooi.
Pigments such as titanium oxide and iron oxide, which have been made into ultra-fine particles, are emulsified and mixed with a solvent until they reach a predetermined temperature, and then sprayed and mixed onto the thermosetting silicone resin to form ultra-fine particles on the surface of the silicone resin. After the pigment is coated and the fragrance is added and mixed, the particle size is adjusted using a crusher and the product is made into a product.

(1) When producing powder foundation When the temperature reaches 60°C, spray from the top of the mixer using the spray device attached to the mixer, and mix with the raw material (e) until it becomes crumbly (about 15 minutes). At this time, mixing can be promoted by maintaining the temperature inside the mixer at 60°C to 70°C. In addition, for dispersion, stirring may be performed using a stirring blade attached to the bottom of the mixer. Also, about 5% water is added to raw material 0 to make a product.

As examples of the present invention, methods for producing powder foundation and oil-based foundation have been described above, and the results of comparing these two products with conventional commercially available products are shown in the table below. This is the result of asking 50 women to perform sensory evaluations over a 6-month period, and the evaluation items were 6 items: spreadability, gloss, texture, feel, transparency, and overall evaluation. In addition, A indicates the titanium silicone compounded product of this example, B indicates the conventional compounded product, and if A>B, A is superior to B, and if A=B, it is at the same level and there is not much difference. .
