5が仮に緩む方向に回動するとすれば、該ナツト
5の端面には略U字状の止金6の他端のストツパ
ー部8が当接したことによつて該止金6もナツト
5と同方向に従動されることとなるが、該止金6
の一端に形成した雄ねじ部7を螺挿しているボル
ト主体2の軸端のねじ孔4はナツト5を螺合させ
ているボルト主体2の雄ねじ部3とは逆ねじとし
ているため、前記止金6がナツト5と同方向に従
動することはその雄ねじ部7をねじ孔4にねじ込
ませてゆくこととなつて該止金6のストツパー部
8のナツト5の端面に対する当接の圧接力を強く
する結果となり、ナツト5の緩む方向への回動は
確実に抑止されるものである。しかも、この際、
略U字状とした止金6はそのバネ反力によつてナ
ツト5の端面に対するストツパー部8の当接の圧
接力を強める上において補助的な大きな効果を発
揮するほかU字状としたことはナツト5の端面に
対するストツパー部8の当接位置をボルト主体2
の軸端のねじ孔4の中心から離すこととなつて止
金6を緩めるのに必要なトルクは大となるために
止金6を緩み難くすることにもなるものである。
このようにして略U字状の止金6によつてナツト
5の緩む方向への回動を確実に抑止する結果とし
てボルト1は常に確実に戻り止めされたものとな
るものである。しかして、締付状態を解除する場
合には、止金6の雄ねじ部7のねじ孔4への螺挿
を解いたうえナツト5の雄ねじ部3への螺装を解
けばよく、その後の止金6やボルト主体2或いは
ナツト5には損傷がないことによつてそのまま支
障なく再使用できるものである。
