Abstract

PURPOSE:To capture paint mists completely and make cleaning and checking easily by providing a first capturing device which captures mists through a wind board and an overflowing water screen and a second capturing device of V-structure with a narrowed flow channel. CONSTITUTION:Paint mists generated by paint spraying operation stick to a water screen flowing along a water current plate 3 from an overflow tank 4 by an air current 10 in an arrow direction formed through a wind board 2, and are absorbed being captured by a lower water tank 5. Most of the mists generated by a first capturing device B are captured. However, the remaining mists are conducted to a second capturing device C at the rear of the water current plate 3 by suction of an exhaust fan. The mists ascend through a block with an opening of wide diameter at low speed and further soar up in a narrow flow channel D' at an increased speed. In this process, the remaining mists are forcibly captured by water screen originating from an upper and a lower nozzle 6, 7.

The compressed air in the painting room A is directed to the ceiling wind direction plate 2 as shown by arrow 10! The water is blown toward the IC, flows over the overflow tank 4 and flows down the water flow plate 3 along the surface having an arcuate cross section, and is guided toward the lower water tank 5 by the suction of the exhaust fan.

At this time, a part of the paint sprayed onto the object to be coated on the painting workbench 11 becomes a mist, and is swept along the overflow tank 4 and the water flow plate 3 by the air flow 10 created by the air flow plate 2. The water adheres to and is absorbed by the flowing water curtain and is collected in the lower water tank 5, and the water in the lower water tank is repeatedly used again via the circulation filter device.

In other words, most of the mist of the paint that has been collected by the water that flows down the water flow plate 3 in a violent manner is removed from the flow path by widening the opening diameter and narrowing the depth on the back side of the water flow plate 3. The mist is completely removed through a so-called V-shaped structure V, in which the injection ports are opposed to each other above and below the flow path D', and the injection ports are staggered in a staggered manner at a predetermined interval in the lateral direction. The secondary mist collection device C is formed from the upper and lower nozzles 6.7 and the sewage original plates 8 and 9 forming a V-shaped structure V, and includes the primary collection device B. The paint that has passed through is guided to the secondary collection device C by the suction of the exhaust fan, and initially,
In the process of rising at a slow speed through the wide opening D, and increasing the speed through the narrow flow path D',
The remaining paint mist is forcibly attached to the water belly and absorbed by the film of water formed by the upper and lower nozzles 6.7, whose spray areas overlap with each other, and the surface of the diagonal water flow plate 8.9. flowing down above,
It will be collected into the lower water tank 5.

As mentioned above, the secondary collection device C has a narrow flow path D′.
By forming a V-shaped channel, the flow velocity is varied and the efficiency of mist collection is improved. The paint mist is collected.
