(Problems to be solved by the prior art and the invention) In snowy regions, especially in urban areas where there are few places to dispose of snow, side gutters are often used as places to dispose of snow. If the amount of snowpack thrown into the gutter is small, there is no particular problem as the snowpack will be gradually melted away by running water, but if a large amount of snowpack is thrown into the gutter at once, The snowpack blocks the flow of water. As a result, the canal became full and overflowed, and downstream areas tended to be flooded.

As a snow removal device using side ditches that solves some of these problems, a device according to Utility Model Application No. 123885/1985 has been proposed. As shown in Fig. 6, this snow removal device has supports b, b arranged opposite to each other on the inner surfaces of opposing side walls a, a, and both of the supports b, b have a lower surface c that is in contact with an upper surface d of the bottom of the gutter. It is formed in the shape of a rectangular block that comes into contact with each other, and is capable of supporting both side edges of the snow receiving plate f at the stepped portions e and e provided above the upper side thereof, and the water control plate g can be freely inserted and removed in the side gutter. The length of the water control plate g in its dropped state is:
The upper end h thereof is set so as to be close to the upper end i of the gutter, and the water control plate g is used to dam the gutter (i.e., the water is blocked by the weir plate), so that running water is stored in the gutter; After throwing snow into the stored water and melting the snow, or crushing the snow into small pieces to the extent that it does not stagnate even if it flows down, the water control plate g is pulled up from the gutter and the snow is flushed away with the stored water. It becomes.

However, such snow removal devices have the following various problems. That is, after melting the snow by throwing snow into the water stored in the gutter by damming the water control board, or breaking the snow into fine pieces, the water control board is pulled up and the snow is poured into the water in the water. (a) When snow is melted by stored water, the water temperature decreases significantly due to snow melting, and the kinetic energy of the flowing water can be utilized (snow mass erosion effect due to flowing water). However, there was a problem that snow melting was difficult to achieve efficiently.

In addition, since snow is put into the reservoir water to melt the snow, or after the snow is crushed, the water control board is pulled up and the snow is flushed away with the stored water, so it is essential to frequently raise and lower the water control board. Snow work efficiency was very poor. Another problem was that the water control plate was likely to come into contact with snow floating in the stored water, and therefore a large force was required to pull up the water control plate, making it difficult to pull it up.

Furthermore, since the support that supports the snow receiving plate is formed in the shape of a relatively large rectangular block whose lower surface is in contact with the top surface of the bottom of the gutter, the support body that supports the snow receiving plate is formed between the snow receiving plate and the bottom top surface of the side gutter. In addition to the problem that the water flow area is reduced due to the presence of both supports, since the supports stand up from the upper surface of the bottom of the gutter, dirt, etc. flowing at the bottom of the gutter is absorbed by the support located on the most upstream side. Another problem was that it easily got caught on the ends of the body.

(Function) In winter, when the snow receiving plate 6 is supported by the support body 7 so as to receive the upper end opening 16 of the gutter block 2a from below, and a snow mass is thrown in from the upper end opening 16, the thrown snow is removed. The lump 33 will be received by the snow receiving plate 6. If the depth of the water in the gutter exceeds the upper surface 27 of the snow receiving plate 6, the received snow mass 33 will naturally be melted by running water (snow melting and snow erosion by running water). Become. On the other hand, if the water depth is less than the upper surface 27 of the snow receiving plate 6, the weir plate 10 is dropped so that the water depth exceeds the upper surface 27 of the snow receiving plate 6, making it possible to melt snow with running water. do. As mentioned above, the length of the weir board 10 is determined by the upper end 2 of the weir board 10.
6 is set to slightly exceed the upper surface of the snow receiving plate 6, the flowing water is not blocked by the weir plate 10, and therefore, snow is always melted by the flowing water.

However, in winter, the required gutter block 2a
The lid plate 15 that closes the upper end opening 16 is removed, and the lid plate 15 is used as the snow receiving plate 6.
Depending on the water depth, the lower part of the upper end opening 16 is supported by the screwed supports 7, 7 using, for example, lower nuts 22. In this state, the snow receiving plate 6 is supported in a slightly raised state from the bottom upper surface 32 of the side gutter 3 (see FIGS. 2 and 3).
FIG. 2 shows a state in which two lid plates having the same specifications are juxtaposed in the length direction, that is, a gutter block 2a.
It shows a state in which the snow receiving plate 6 is disposed over substantially the entire length of the plate. Therefore, all of the snow mass 33 thrown in from the upper end opening 16 will be received by the snow receiving plate 6. At this time, the snow mass 33 does not block the running water. Therefore, if the water depth exceeds the upper surface 27 of the snow receiving plate 6, the snow mass 33 will be melted by the running water. On the other hand, if the water depth is less than the upper surface 27 of the snow receiving plate 6, by dropping the weir plate 10 into the guide groove 23, the water depth will be made to exceed the upper surface 27 of the snow receiving plate 6, and the water will be extinguished by running water. Allows snow. As mentioned above, the length of the weir plate 10 is set so that the upper end 26 of the weir plate 10 slightly exceeds the upper surface 27 of the snow receiving plate 6, so that the weir plate 10 blocks the flowing water. Therefore, snow is constantly melted using running water.

The snow removal device of the present invention allows snow receiving plates to be installed at the lower part of both side walls of the gutter block, and
The upper end of the dropped weir board is configured so that it slightly protrudes upward from the top surface of the snow receiving plate.
Even if the water depth is below the top surface of the snow plate,
By dropping the weir plate, the water depth of the side gutter can be made to exceed the upper surface of the snow receiving plate without blocking the running water.

The snow removal device of the present invention is configured so that snow is removed without the weir plate blocking running water, so unlike conventional snow removal devices, the weir plate must be raised and lowered to remove the snow that has been thrown in. There is no need to do this at all, thus saving labor in snow removal work,
It can be expected to improve efficiency.

In the snow removal device of the present invention, the support body that supports the snow receiving plate is formed in an angled shape consisting of a support piece that supports the snow receiving plate and a mounting piece that is fixed to the inner surface of the side wall. The area is very small compared to the cross-sectional area of the support in the conventional snow removal device described above. Therefore, the area of the water channel is hardly reduced by the supports, and there is no problem such as dirt flowing at the bottom of the side gutter getting caught by the supports.
