(Prior art) In general, a bolt clipper has two cutting blades that have meshing parts on their inner surfaces and are pivotally attached to a washer, and each cutting blade rotates around an axis located outward from the cutting edge. Cutting is performed while the cutting edge of each cutting blade moves toward the washer. For this reason, the material to be cut gradually moves toward the washer as the cutting progresses, and the material to be cut will eventually be cut while being pressed by the washer, but cutting in such a state not only increases the cutting load but also There were problems such as damage to the cutting edge because the material to be cut slipped on the surface of the cutting blade.

(Structure of the invention) The present invention has two cutting blades each having a mutually meshing part formed on their inner edges, each pivotally mounted at two positions spaced apart between front and back washers, and the meshing part on one side of each cutting blade. A semicircular recess is formed surrounding the washer, and a disc-shaped stopper is fitted into the circular cavity formed between these recesses and the back surface of one of the washers.

(Embodiment) Next, the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to the illustrated embodiment. In the figure, 1 and 2 are inserted between the front and back washers 3, 3, and the washers 3, 3 are placed at two separated positions. These are the cutting blades of a bolt clipper which are pivotally connected with bolts 4 and 5, respectively, and mutually engaging portions 6 and 7 are formed at the inner edges of the forward parts of the cutting blades 1 and 2, respectively. Furthermore, semicircular recesses 8 and 9 are provided on one side of each of the cutting blades 1 and 2 on the inner side of the tip thereof so as to surround the engaging portions 6 and 7, respectively.
9 forms a circular cavity between the cutting blades 1 and 2 and the back surface of one of the washers 3 when the cutting blades 1 and 2 are pivotally attached to the washer 3 as shown in the figure. A disc-shaped stopper 10 is fitted into this cavity. The outer diameter of the stopper 10 is such that it contacts the front surface of the washer 3 in the state shown in FIG. 3, and the cutting edges 11 and 12 of the cutting blades 1 and 2 are formed into two-stage cutting edges.

In this structure, like a general bolt clipper, the cutting blades 1 and 2 are opened and closed by a pair of handles, and the material to be cut, such as a wire rod, is held between the cutting edges 11 and 12 of both cutting blades. It is intended to cut the
When both cutting blades 1 and 2 are opened as shown in Fig. 2, the engaging parts 6 and 7 of each cutting blade 1 and 2 move forward,
Accordingly, the recesses 8, 9 formed in each cutting blade 1, 2 and the stopper 10 also move forward. Note that when the cutting blades 1 and 2 are moved from the closed state shown in FIG. 1 or 3 to the open state shown in FIG. The meshing parts 6 and 7 that have been formed are swung so that their cutting edges are opened, and therefore the semicircular recesses 8 and 9 formed to surround these meshing parts 6 and 7 are also swung so that their cutting edges are opened. move. Therefore, the circular cavity formed between these recesses 8 and 9 and the back surface of one of the washers 3 moves forward while expanding its overall diameter as shown in FIG. The metal 10 does not obstruct the opening and closing movement of the cutting blades 1 and 2. Furthermore, when the cutting blades 1 and 2 are closed, they simply return to their original state, so it goes without saying that the stopper 10 does not obstruct the opening and closing of the cutting blades 1 and 2 at this time as well. When the material to be cut A is inserted between the cutting edges 11 and 12 in the state shown in FIG. 2 and cutting is started, each cutting blade 1 and 2 rotates around the bolts 4 and 5, so that The cutting edges 11 and 12 move in the direction of the washer 3, and the material to be cut gradually approaches the washer 3, but as the cutting blades 1 and 2 rotate as shown in FIG. recesses 8 and 9 formed in 2 and the stopper 1 fitted inside the recesses 8 and 9;
0 also moves backward at the same speed as the cutting edges 11 and 12.
Therefore, even if the material to be cut A is inserted until it comes into contact with the stopper 10 in the state shown in FIG. This state is reached, and the cutting is performed smoothly without being pressed by the washer 3 until the end. In addition, the second
When the material to be cut A is inserted into the tip of the stopper 10 in the state shown in the figure, the material to be cut A is at a position away from the washer 3 even when cutting is completed, and there is no risk of being pressed by the washer.

(Effects of the invention) As is clear from the above description, the present invention has a circular cavity formed by a semicircular recess provided at a position surrounding the engaging part of the cutting blade and the back surface of one of the washers. Since it is fitted with a shaped clasp,
During cutting, the blade edge, the material to be cut, and the stopper move backward at the same speed, and if the outer diameter of the stopper is set appropriately, the material to be cut will be completely cut without being pressed against the washer. As a result, cutting can be performed smoothly without increasing the cutting load, and there is no slippage between the cutting edge and the material to be cut, so damage to the cutting edge can be prevented. Furthermore, since the recess provided in each cutting blade is semicircular, the disc-shaped stopper can always be held securely even when the cutting blade rotates, and the advantage is that the structure is simple and can be provided at low cost. Together with this, it has extremely great practical value as it solves the problems of conventional bolt clippers.
