Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform reliable correction of orientation of a soft sheetform article, by a method wherein orientation of an article under conveyance is detected, compressed air is injected from below on the side of a subsequent article to float the one side, and only the other side is conveyed forward. CONSTITUTION:A soft sheetform article 3 is placed on a conveyance belt 10 for conveyance. A top plate 22, being a press plate, is situated in place to the conveyance belt 3, and through-holes are formed on both sides in a conveyance direction to detect the article 3 by means of photoelectric tubes 23a and 23b. Injection nozzles 25a and 25b are situated below the conveyance belt 10 on the downstream side of a photo-electric tube 23 position of the top plate 22 and on both sides of the advancing direction so that upward injection can be effected. When the article 3 is conveyed in oblique orientation on the belt 10, the one side of the article 3 is detected by the one photo-electric tube 23, and compressed air is injected through the injection nozzle on the same side to float the one side of the article 3 to suppress the progress of the article by means of the top plate 22, and only the other side is progressed to correct orientation.

(Prior art) Conventionally, when packaging soft sheet-like articles such as plasters such as poultices, a relatively large raw material for the poultice was first prepared, and the raw material was continuously drawn out. After transporting the poultice in the form of a band, cutting it into a predetermined shape in the vertical and horizontal directions during transport to form a poultice, the poultice is assembled into a predetermined number of sheets and wrapped with three-sided seals, four-sided seals, etc. to create flat packaging. The body was manufactured continuously.

This poultice is usually applied by applying spring break on a cloth member,
Furthermore, a synthetic resin film is laminated above the plaster to prevent hardening and to prevent the poultices from adhering to each other when stacked.

Therefore, if the original fabric is transported in a cut state,
There is a tendency for the adhesive strength of the paste itself to slightly stick to the area where the adjacent moist A-D medicine is cut. The cut poultices are arranged so that the conveyance path gradually expands toward the tip so that the poultices are separated from each other, and each poultice is separated and conveyed and then packaged.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, in the conventional method, when the cut poultices gradually separate from each other, due to the influence of light adhesion between the cut poultices, the poultice is transferred to the conveying means. This results in various postures with respect to the conveyance direction. That is, it is inclined with respect to the conveyance direction of the poultice before cutting. Therefore, if the poultice is transferred to the next packaging means as it is, the poultice will be supplied to the packaging means in an inclined state.

As a result, when the poultice is stored in the packaging film, it does not fit within the packaging film, but instead protrudes from the packaging film, resulting in the problem of being unable to be packaged and resulting in defective products.

As a means to solve this problem, a set of guide plates is provided on both sides of the conveyance path during separation, and the poultice is held between the guide plates to ensure correct conveyance posture (orientation).
It is also possible to modify it.

However, with such means, relatively thick and hard articles can be corrected smoothly, but in the case of soft sheet-like articles such as poultices, both sides of the article can be corrected smoothly. If the article is clamped, it will not move along the guide plate, but will be crushed and deformed into a wave-like shape, and its posture cannot be corrected in the correct direction. In addition, if the item is a poultice as mentioned above, a highly adhesive plaster is exposed or slightly filled from the periphery, so the plaster adheres to the guide plate and stains the kite board. The surface of the guide plate becomes uneven.

Furthermore, there is a risk that the poultice itself will stick to the guide plate and inhibit its progress, making it impossible to reliably correct the conveyance posture of the article.

Next, the method of the present invention will be explained based on the above embodiments. First, the intermediate product 1 cut into a predetermined length is
The three articles 3 are conveyed at predetermined intervals by the conveyor 2 and cut into a predetermined width by the cutting device 14 during the conveyance.
is manufactured and transferred to the second transport device 5 at the next stage. Then, each of the three articles 3 is transported forward by the adjacent second transport device 5 while gradually separating from each other. Then, each article 3 is conveyed along the traveling direction of each conveyance path, and its conveyance posture is gradually rotated. In other words, it is transported while being inclined with respect to the traveling direction of the third transport device 7. In particular, the article 3 conveyed on the expanding left and right conveyance paths
The direction of the phenomenon is markedly oblique. Taking as an example an article passing through the conveyance path on the right side of the traveling direction, the article 3 is conveyed in substantially the same direction as the conveyance path, as shown in FIG. 3(a). Then, first,
The article 3 is detected by the inner phototube 23a.

At this time, the outer phototube 23b does not detect the article 3. Thereby, it can be determined whether the article 3 is inclined with respect to the third conveyance path 7. A signal of this information is transmitted to the compressed air injection device, and compressed air is injected upward from the nozzle 25a on the advancing side, that is, on the inner side in the direction of movement detected by the phototube 23a. As a result, the article 3 is lifted up, but since the article 3 is in the form of a soft sheet, the side that is hit by the compressed air, that is, the inside, is lifted up and either comes into contact with the top plate 22 located above it in a pressed state, or the opposite side. side (outside)
is maintained on the endosil belt 10 (see FIG. 2(b)). Therefore, the outside of article 3 (second
Since only the left side in the figure receives the conveying force from the endless belt 10, the article 3 rotates counterclockwise around the location where it is pressed against the top plate 22. Then, when the article 3 rotates and the inner phototube 23b detects the article 3 (see FIG. 3(b)), it means that the article 3 has been corrected in the correct orientation with respect to the third conveyance device 7. Stop compressed air injection. Then, the upward urging force of the compressed air on the article 3 disappears, so that the entire surface of the article 3 comes into contact with the endless belt 10 again, and the article 3 is conveyed.

In this way, the conveyance posture of the article 3 can be corrected without pressing inward from both sides of the article 3 or directly contacting the article 3, so that even a soft sheet-like article can be reliably corrected.

Then, the article 3 is either transferred to the third conveyance device 7 in that state, or the article 3 is corrected by the orientation correcting means 20 in the previous stage so that it faces in the same direction as the traveling direction of the third conveyance device 7. Even if the packaged product is fed as it is to the packaging device at the previous stage, the packaging operation is carried out smoothly and reliably, and the packaged body is manufactured.

In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the articles were transferred to the left and right (especially right side) conveyance paths, but each article 3 cut in the same direction as the traveling direction was transferred to the second conveyance device 5. When carrying out the process, the adjacent articles 3 are smoothly separated from each other due to the adhesive force of the paste, or the articles 3 are transferred to the second conveying device 5 in an inclined state from the beginning, or each conveying path of the conveying device is Since it is composed of a plurality of endless belts, although they are synchronized, there may be a difference in the rotational speed of each endless belt, and even in such a case, the article 3 will be tilted. That is, the same attitude correction can be used for articles that are transported not only on the left and right inclined transport paths but also on the central transport path arranged in the same direction.

Further, in the above embodiment, a phototube was used as the detection means, but various detection methods such as a so-called image sensor or a microswitch can be used, and furthermore, the position of the phototube is limited to the upper part of the conveyance device. Needless to say, this is unprecedented.
