Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a non-slip belt which can be mounted easily onto tire on snowy road. by forming a belt body covering the outer circumferential face and the opposite side faces of tire into ring shape from expandable/shrinkable resilient material and providing many projections on the surface of the belt body contacting with pavement. CONSTITUTION:A non-slip belt has a belt body 2 mountable onto a tire 1 while covering the outer circumferential face and the opposite side faces of the tire 1, where the belt body 2 is formed into ring shape with expandable/shrinkable natural rubber or synthetic rubber. Many pointed projections 3 are formed entirely on the surface of the belt body 2 contacting with pavement. Furthermore, thin portions 4 are formed at the opposite edges of the belt body 2 in order to increase expanding/shrinking performance thereat. The non-slip belt constructed in such a manner is mounted onto the tire 1 with the belt body 2 being expanded and applied tightly onto the tire 1 through resiliency thereof.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, the above-mentioned chains and special tires are very troublesome to install or replace, and there are problems in that they cannot respond quickly to changes in road surface conditions. In some cases, there was also the inconvenience of scattering harmful dust. Moreover, since these require a large storage space, it is inconvenient to carry them around all the time.

Structure of the Invention (Means for Solving the Problems) This invention has been made to solve the above problems, and the belt body that covers the outer circumferential surface and both side surfaces of the tire is made of a stretchable elastic material to form an annular shape. The belt body is characterized by having a large number of protrusions on the road surface contacting surface of the belt body.

(Operations and Effects) According to this solution, the elasticity of the heald body makes it extremely easy to attach and detach the heald body, and the shape when not in use is compact.

The anti-slip belt configured as described above is attached to the tire 1 with the heald main body 2 stretched. In this way, the heald body 2
Since the tire firmly adheres to the outer peripheral surface and both side surfaces of the tire 1 due to its own elasticity, there is no risk of it coming off during driving. When the vehicle is worn on a frozen or snow-covered road, each protrusion 3 serves as a non-slippery against the road surface, thereby preventing slippage.

At the time of removal, put your fingertips into the thin wall portion 4, stretch the heald body 2, and remove it from the tire 1. In this case, since the thin wall portion 4 is highly elastic, the removal operation is extremely easy as well as the installation process. Furthermore, when not in use, the entire device can be folded into a compact form and stored in a trunk or the like, making it convenient to carry around at all times.

The present invention is not limited to the configuration of the embodiment described above, but for example, as shown by the chain line in FIG. If these are mutually fastened with a string or band-shaped elastic member 7, the attached state of the heald main body 2 can be maintained more reliably. Furthermore, the protrusion 3 may be changed to an arbitrary shape such as a square SIG or a conical shape, or the protrusion 3 may be individually molded from a hard synthetic resin material and implanted in the heald main body 2,
Alternatively, it is also possible to embody the present invention in various embodiments, such as by forming the belt body 2 from other stretchable elastic materials.

Furthermore, since the heald body 2 is made of a rubber material that is extremely flexible and highly elastic, there is no problem in manual operation even if the thin part 4 is omitted and the thickness is uniform.
