Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate reception operation and to save man-hours by identifying general telephone incoming or facsimile incoming depending on the presence of a facsimile data sending preparation signal from an opposite facsimile terminal and deciding the connection to a telephone set circuit or a facsimile terminal. CONSTITUTION:A facsimile data sending preparation signal reception circuit 7 is started from a ringing signal reception circuit 1 via a control line 10 to await the facsimile data sending preparation signal from an opposite subscriber. If no signal comes within a prescribed time, the reception circuit 7 starts a switching circuit 3 through a control line 12 to connect a talking line 14 to a telephone set circuit 8. Furthermore, the reception circuit 7 starts a call circuit in the telephone set circuit 8 by the control line 11. The talking between the person and opposite subscriber by the manual response of the circuit 8 and after the communication, the switching circuit 3 is connected to a facsimile equipment 4 via the talking line 14 and the line 16 to apply communication manually.

[Prior Art] Conventionally, the reception method of this type of facsimile machine is a method in which automatic reception or manual reception is selected by operating the operation panel of the facsimile machine. If automatic reception is set, when a call is received, The facsimile machine automatically responds, receives data from the other party's terminal, and outputs it. In addition, if manual reception is set, when a call is received, the telephone attached to the facsimile device is called, a human can answer the call, and the other party can be contacted.Furthermore, by manual operation of the facsimile device, the data from the other party's terminal can be retrieved. It was a receiving method.

[Problems to be Solved] The conventional facsimile receiving system described above has the following three drawbacks because it is a system in which automatic or manual call reception is set on the facsimile machine. First, if the caller wanted to send data after having a conversation with the called subscriber, it was necessary to call another telephone number, wait for three calls there, and then receive the call on the line to which the facsimile machine was set.

A ringing signal (incoming call signal) receiving circuit 1 connected to the incoming call port 115A9 is activated when there is an incoming call, and activates an incoming call automatic response circuit 2 connected to the incoming telephone line 9. The incoming call automatic response circuit 2 forms a loop circuit for displaying a response on the exchange side, and at the same time extends the incoming telephone line 9 to the switching circuit 3 via the telephone line 14. The telephone line 14 is connected to the hybrid circuit 6 via the switching circuit 3 and the telephone line 17. The hybrid circuit 6 is connected to the talkie circuit 5 through a telephone line 18. The talkie circuit 5 notifies the facsimile line that a call has arrived, and at the same time notifies the other subscriber by voice that a person is being called. A facsimile data transmission preparation signal receiving circuit 7 is connected to the other terminal of the hybrid circuit 6 via a telephone line 19. The receiving circuit 7 is activated by the ringing signal receiving circuit 1 via the control line 10, and waits for a facsimile data sending preparation signal from the other subscriber. When the facsimile data sending preparation signal arrives within a certain period of time, the switching circuit 3 is activated via the control line 12 and the telephone line operator 4 is connected to the facsimile machine 4 via the telephone line 16. Thereafter, the facsimile device 4 communicates with the other subscriber's facsimile device (not shown) and prints the output. If the facsimile data sending preparation signal does not arrive within a certain period of time, the optional receiving circuit 7
starts the switching circuit 3 by the control line 12, and the communication line 1 is switched on.
4 is connected to the telephone circuit 8 via the telephone line 15.

Furthermore, the telephone receiver circuit 7 is connected to the telephone circuit 8 via the control line 11.
Activate the calling circuit within. A response by the person on the telephone circuit 8 enables a conversation between this person and the other subscriber. After the call, the switching circuit 3 is connected to the facsimile machine 4 via the call line 14 and the call line 16 using an operation button (not shown), and communication with the other party's terminal is manually performed. After the reception is completed by the facsimile machine 4, the switching circuit 3 is controlled via the control line 13, and the talking port 1i14 is connected to the telephone circuit 8 via the talking line 15, so that it is possible to talk to the other party again. I urge you to do so.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the present invention identifies whether an incoming call is a general phone call or a facsimile call based on the presence or absence of a facsimile data transmission preparation signal from the other party's facsimile terminal, and then determines whether the call is connected to the telephone circuit or not. By adopting a configuration that determines whether to connect to a facsimile terminal, the receiving terminal's own! lI7! /It has the effect of allowing a facsimile call to be received after a call on the same telephone, regardless of the manual call reception setting.
