The sliding contact of the connector has a threaded part on the rear end into which a crimp terminal, etc. is screwed, but since the sliding contact is usually made of a thin plate such as a spring steel plate, burring etc. are applied to it. A thread may be carved into the thread, but there are problems with strength and processing, so a separate nut is usually used for the threaded part. When using this nut to connect a pressure contact terminal, etc. to the rear end of the sliding contact, the nut is inserted into a recess in the connector body of the insulating synthetic resin molded product to which the sliding contact is attached. The concave portion of the molded product is perpendicular to the processing direction of the mold, which complicates the structure of the mold, making it impossible to provide the connector at a low cost. Therefore, in order to attach the nut to the rear end of the sliding contact very easily and reliably, the present invention has two nut-engaging protrusions protruding in opposite directions from the rear end of the sliding contact. This is what I did.

FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal cross-sectional view of the connector, and the sliding contacts 3 and 4 attached to the connector bodies 1 and 2 made of molded insulating synthetic resin on the power supply side or the power reception side are connected to the connector bodies 1 and 2. are configured to overlap each other and engage to enable electrical connection. The connector bodies 1 and 2 are box bodies, and hold and stand up sliding contacts 3 and 4, and are arranged so that the sliding contacts 3 and 4 are engaged when the connector bodies 1 and 2 are mated. is. At the rear ends of the sliding contacts 3, 4, there are mounting screws 5, 6 for screwing crimp terminals, etc.
are screwed onto square plate nuts 7 and 8.

The sliding contacts 3 and 4 are formed in the same shape, and one is
Rotate it 180 degrees and use it with the tips facing each other. Therefore, the sliding contact 3 will be explained with reference to FIGS. 2 to 5. The sliding contact 3 is a metal plate that is a good electrical conductor and preferably has elasticity, for example,
A base 9 made of a copper plate or a phosphor bronze plate and attached to the connector body 1, a central contact 10 extending from the base 9, and side contact legs 12 extending across notches 11, 11 on both sides of the central contact 10.
It consists of a and 12b. A mounting hole 13 through which the mounting screw 5 is inserted is bored on the base end side of the base 9, and the base 9, the center contactor 10, and the side armatures 12a, 1
2b is substantially in the same plane but engages with another sliding contact 4, so that the central contact 1
The tips of the center contact 10 and the side contact legs 12a, 12b are bent in opposite directions, and the base ends of the center contact 10 and the side contact legs 12a, 12b are bent in opposite directions. is formed, and the bent stepped portion is in the same direction as the warping direction of the tip and is approximately the thickness of the plate. This bent step is the sliding contactor 3, 4.
The central contacts 10, 10 and the side contact legs 12a, 12a, 12b, 12
It also functions as a stopper when the parts b are advanced so as to overlap. In addition, the central contact 10 and side contact legs 12a of the sliding contacts 3 and 4 that slide and make contact,
A dirt discharge groove 14 is carved on the sliding surface of the member 12b. Furthermore, a sliding contact 3 is provided near the tip of the base 9.
An engaging claw 15 for attaching the connector body 1 to the connector body 1 is cut and raised.

The present invention is designed to directly attach a rectangular plate-shaped nut 7 for screwing a crimp terminal or the like onto the sliding contact 3 without depending on the shape of the recess in the synthetic resin molded product of the connector body 1. Two nut-engaging protrusions 16 and 17 are provided at the rear end so as to project in opposite directions and are bent at right angles. Although the engaging protrusions 16 and 17 are provided at the rear end in this illustrated example, they are not necessarily limited to the rear end, and may be at any position that prevents the nut 7 from rotating near the mounting hole 13. Also, any bulging surface or other material may be used as long as it has the function of preventing rotation.

To attach the nut 7 to the sliding contact 3, as shown in FIG. 6, place the nut 7 on the non-sliding surface of the mounting hole 13, and interpose a plain washer 18 and a spring washer 19 on the sliding surface. Insert the mounting screw 5 from the sliding surface side and screw it. Then, Natsuto 7
The side surface of the projection 16 abuts against the projection 16 and is fixed. on the other hand,
To attach the nut 8 to the sliding contact 4, place the nut 8 on the non-sliding surface in the same way as above, and slide the mounting screw 6 with the plain washer 20 and spring washer 21 interposed on the sliding surface. Insert it from the side and screw it in. Then, the side surface of the nut 8 abuts against the protrusion 17 and is fixed.

As mentioned above, the present invention has a nut engaging protrusion protruding from the rear end of the sliding contact, so that the nut for screwing the crimp terminal etc. can be attached regardless of the shape of the recess in the synthetic resin molded product of the connector body. It is possible to attach the connector using only a sliding contact, there is no need to form a recess for the nut in the connector body, the structure of the molding die can be simplified, and the connector can be provided at low cost. In addition, since the sliding contact of the present invention has two nut-engaging protrusions protruding in opposite directions, the tip of the sliding contact with the same shape can be rotated 180 degrees. Even when they are used facing each other, the nuts can be engaged and installed securely in the same way. Furthermore, the present invention is extremely easy to implement, as it essentially provides an engaging protrusion protruding from the rear end of the sliding contact.
