削り取った裏ゴム部分の歪みを抑えるから接着後変形す
ることは無い。又、マットの変形原因、内方の裏ゴム(
4)の収縮進行状態をゴム材質、使用期間等で検討して
、適応する配合並びに形状の補修ゴム(2)により加硫
成型するから、補修後の補修部分のゴムと旧ゴムとの収
縮膨張の関係が常にバランスの取れた状態となり、経時
的にも歪み現象の起こらないマットを供することが出来
る。

変形が起こらないように補修ゴム(2)の配合、形状や
加硫成型方法を種々講しるものである。即ち、縁ゴム並
びに裏ゴムの一部をとり除いた変形マット(1)に対し
、該変形マツl−(1)を常温のままで熱膨張させずし
て成型後の縮み率が出来るだけ大きくなる配合にした補
修ゴム(2)を以て成型する方法や、前記変形マット(
1)を加硫温度で温めることで十分に熱膨張させ、その
膨張率を測って常温時との差を確かめ補修ゴム(2)の
配合を加硫後に変形マツI−(11の縮み率と同じ縮み
率になるようにし、膨張状態の変形マット+11と補修
ゴム(2)を同じ大きさに成型する方法や、変形マット
(11を熱膨張させて膨張率を測り常温時の差を確認し
た後に加硫後の縮みが変形マット(l)本体よりも小さ
くなるように配合した補修ゴム(2)を以て本体より大
きめに成型する方法などが講じられる。尚、上記方法に
よっても経時的に変形する危険があると判断される場合
は、補修ゴム(2)の体積、表面積、接合面槽の変化と
変形マット(11(l[IJの変化とが常にバランスを
保った状態で変化するように該補修ゴム(2)の配合を

補修ゴムも無理なく加硫成型して接着するから、マット
に対して余分な負担はかからず、作業も迅速に行えると
いった効果を奏する。
