Abstract

PURPOSE:To miniaturize a cake by simple construction and to coat the surface by dry powder, by supplying the dry powder at contacting part of the dehydrate cake with a slitter or at contacting part of the dehydrate cake with a chipper roll. CONSTITUTION:The dehydrate cake 2 is slipped on a scraper 1 and is continuously cut by edge 4 of the slitter 3. The chipper roll 6 is arranged just below the slitter 3 and the section of the cake 2 is made to round bar-state or cylindrical state. The dry powder 11 discharged from a hopper 7 by a device 20, is quantitatively and uniformly supplied on the contacting face of the slitter 3 with the cake 2 at the dropping point 12. Then, at the same time with this, the dry powder 11 is supplied to the contacting part of the chipper roll 6 with the cake 2. In this way, by simple and compact construction, the cake is cut to small, and the surface can be coated by drying powder.

Measures have been taken to solve the problem using high-pressure technology, but all of them have their limitations, and it is essential to improve the refining method. Among these, a method was discovered to create a water-permeable layer by attaching dry powder to the surface of sludge and dewater it at high speed.

The above-mentioned rolling granulation method is a technology in the field of elements, food, or powder metallurgy, and is only applied to the refining of secondary dewatering of sludge. In the former field, the particle size distribution, average diameter, etc. are important, and the result of granulation is greatly influenced by subsequent steps. On the other hand, when considering sludge granulation, the original purpose is to create a permeable layer to facilitate dewatering, and there is no need to make it perfectly spherical. However, the primary dehydration cake from a centrifugal dehydrator is discharged in an amorphous form, and the secondary dehydration cake must be crushed and granulated using a rotating drum or the like. In this case, it is denominated in yen. This has led to an increase in the installation area when constructing the entire system, and has also been a cause of troubles in handling. however,
The situation is different in dehydrators such as belt press type and vacuum type dehydrators in which the dehydrated cake has a constant thickness on a belt and is continuously discharged. That is, an object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus that can easily perform heat treatment to enable secondary dehydration by utilizing the small space at which the dehydrated cake is discharged from the primary dehydrator.

A slitter for crushing the cake is installed above the scraper provided after the primary dehydration using a belt press, etc., and a chipper roll for breaking the cake into small pieces is installed directly below the scraper, and the primary dehydrated cake is tempered from above the cake slitter and chipper roll. This makes it possible to supply a fixed amount of dry powder.

Further, a chipper roll 6 is provided below the slitter 3, and a chipper roll 6 is provided below the slitter 3.
The cross section of the slitter is made into a simple round rod shape or a cylinder so that the cake 2 adhering to the slitter blades 4 and 15 can be easily and reliably peeled off. The outer peripheral speed of the chipper roll 6 is set higher than that of the slitter 3. Although the arrangement described above is achieved in the present invention, the respective positional relationships are most important. In order to ensure that the dry powder L1 is supplied to the slit surface and at the same time to the contact area between the chipper roll 6 and the cake 2, the dry powder 11 can be supplied in a vertical line, or the cake 2 and the slitter 3 should be placed in the vicinity of the vertical line. And the cake 2 and the chipper roll 6 are provided so that the contact point is there. FIG. 4 shows an example of dewatering equipment incorporating the refining device of the present invention.

It is then highly dehydrated in the secondary dehydrator 21 and transported from D to E, with a final moisture content of 45 to 50%. The conventional tempering device 17 used a rolling drum type, which made it difficult to arrange it in an integrated and compact manner. However, by utilizing the shape characteristics of the belt press type primary dewatering cake, This makes it possible to create a structure with an integrated arrangement as shown in Figure 5.

The primary dewatering cake produced by a belt press or the like has a constant layer thickness on the upper surface of the scraper, approximately the width of the belt, and is discharged at an extremely low speed, but this state is very stable and stable, with almost no fluctuations. When vertical grooves are first formed on this dehydrated cake, the rigidity of the cake itself is extremely weak, so with a simple circular slitter, the cake loses its driving force at the tooth width portion, resulting in a so-called dumpling state. The method of the present invention, which allows for intermittent cutting, is effective in preventing dangling, as long as the amount retained by the tooth width during the net cutting time by the slitter blade does not affect the propulsion of the entire cake. When the dry powder is sprinkled onto the slit grooves, a water-permeable layer is first formed by the dry powder on the top and both sides of the cake. After that, it comes into contact with the chipper roll surface after leaving almost no distance, with a slight falling phenomenon. During this fall, the cake splits,
Further dry powder adheres to the cut surface. That is, a water-permeable layer is formed at the front and rear of the vehicle in the direction of travel. In this state, the chipper roll blows the cake in the direction of the resultant force of the centrifugal force of rotating the cake and the tangential force caused by the friction coefficient between the cake and the chipper, but in reality, due to the difference in mass of the cake pieces, the cake layer on the conveyor 13 is not uniform. Can be done.

Therefore, (1) the thermal refining device of the present invention has a simple and compact configuration that can break the cake into small pieces and coat the surface with dry powder, and also has a secondary dehydrator and a secondary dehydrator. Since it is a connecting device that combines the above, it has a great effect of reducing the total volume of the dewatering equipment, and can be provided economically at low cost.
