回動自在のフラツプを取付けるなど勾配調整機構
を取付けることが行はれている。勾配調整用のフ
ラツプは、ランプの一部もしくは全体を嵌込ませ
る開口を有する甲板の側に設置することもでき
る。このようにして形成されるランプ上のフラツ
プと甲板上のフラツプとが組合はせて使用される
場合には双方のフラツプが協働して自動車の走行
に支障のない屈折面を形成し、或いは同一平面内
に置かれるよう特別の配慮が必要になる。更に格
納時にランプを嵌込ませる開口を備えた甲板、例
