Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent resin from leaking through a sprue bushing, by a method wherein a part of the sprue bushing is constituted movably so that capacity of a resin part within the sprue bushing is increased when a nozzle and the sprue bushing of a molding machine are separated from each other, and decreased when both are joined to each other. CONSTITUTION:A sprue bushing is divided into a stationary part 2a and movable part 2b, the movable part 2b is fitted to the stationary part 2a slidably by making the movable part 2b cylindrical, and a sliding range is controlled by a stopper 2c. In addition, the movable part 2b is fitted to the stationary part 2a by energizing the same by a pressure spring 8 so that the movable part 2b may go far off from the stationary part 2a. At the time of casting of resin, a nozzle 1 of a molding machine is pushed against the tip of the movable part 2b of the sprue bushing 2 and in this instance, the movable part 2b is pushed against the stationary part 2a by overcoming pressure of the spring 8. when casting of the resin is completed, the nozzle 1 is moved backward in the direction of an arrow, the movable part 2b is pushed back through the pressure of the spring 8, resin pressure of the inside of the sprue bushing 2 is lowered and a resin leak through the tip of the movable part 2b can be effectively prevented.

The above-mentioned conventional technology does not take measures against resin leakage from the sprue bushing, and there is a problem in that the molding operator has to remove the leaked resin. If this leaked resin is left unattended, it will cause trouble in joining the molding machine nozzle and sprue bushing, causing trouble during subsequent molding and damage to the mold.

The above object is to provide a hot runner mold device having a manifold maintained above the softening point of the resin and a sprue bush connected to the manifold and corresponding to a molding machine nozzle.
This is achieved by the hot runner mold apparatus in which a portion of the sprue bushing is configured to be movable so that the volume of the resin within the sprue bushing increases and the volume of the resin portion in the sprue bushing decreases during joining.

During injection, the sprue bush main body on the nozzle side, which is moved to the forward end by the touch force (contact pressure) of the nozzle, retreats to the stopper position by the action of an elastic body such as a spring as the nozzle retreats after injection. As a result, the volume of the resin passage in the sprue bush increases, and the resin pressure in the sprue bush and manifold decreases.Since the resin pressure in the sprue bush and the manifold decreases, resin leakage from the sprue bush is prevented even if the nozzle is separated from the sprue bush.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be explained based on FIG. 1 and FIG. 2. In the figures, 1 is a molding machine 1 to which molten resin is supplied, and 2 is a molding machine 1 that is pressed by the molding machine 1. The sprue bush main bodies 2a and 2b to which the resin is supplied are constructed by dividing the sprue bush, and are a fixed part and a movable part, respectively. The movable part 2b has a cylindrical shape and is slidably attached to the fixed part 2a, and its sliding range is limited by a stopper 2c. Moreover, the movable part 2b is attached and urged by a pressure spring 8 so as to move away from the fixed part 2a. In the state shown in FIG. 1, the movable portion 2b is biased toward the left end, and a chamber having a distance A is formed between the movable and fixed image portions. Both movable and fixed parts 2b and 2a are provided with resin passage holes so as to communicate with each other. A heater 9 heats the entire manifold 2 to prevent the supplied resin from curing.

When the injection of resin is completed in the state shown in the figure, the nozzle 1 moves back in the direction of the arrow, resulting in the state shown in FIG. In this state, the movable part 2
b is pushed back by the pressure of spring 8, and a chamber of distance A is formed in the sprue bush. That is, the volume in which resin exists in the sprue bush (resin portion volume) increases.
