Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the title film into a material possessing appropriate opaqueness and fine-grained surface roughness, flexibleness and superior hand, by a method wherein extrusion molding of a composition is performed at a specific ratio between an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having specific content of vinyl acetate and a melt index and an ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer having a specific density and a melt index. CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin film is composed of a composition composed of 50-80 wt.% ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer whose content of vinyl acetate is 15-35 wt.% and melt index is 10-30g/10 minutes and 50-20 wt.% ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer whose density is 0.950 or lower and melt index is 0.3-1.0g/10 minutes by performing extrusion molding of the composition. With this construction, a polyolefin film possessing appropriate opaqueness and fine-grained roughness, flexibleness and superior hand is obtained.

←) Conventional technology Conventionally, satin-like polyolefin films have often been obtained by a mechanical method in which the satin finish is transferred to the film by pressing a film such as low-density polyethylene against a satin engraving roll. There is. Also,
It is also known that the surface of the film itself is rough and opaque, such as high-density polyethylene.

f→Problem to be Solved by the Invention Conventional satin-like polyolefin films are caused by the properties of low-density polyethylene itself and mechanical pressure in the former, and due to the properties of high-density polyethylene itself in the latter. Due to this, they tend to lack flexibility and have poor texture, which can be a problem depending on the application.

If the vinyl acetate content is less than 15% by weight, the film will lack opacity, will not have fine grain roughness and will lack flexibility, and even if the melt index is less than 1 atlx o min, the film will be opaque. It lacks texture and does not have fine grain or rough skin. On the other hand, when the vinyl acetate content exceeds 35% by weight, and
If the melt index exceeds aor/lo, the film formation stability during extrusion molding of the film will be poor and only a film lacking in film thickness uniformity will be obtained.
