Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily form a negative for photomechanical process by coating a one-time pressure sensitive transfer type ink layer having non-transmissivity of light on a transparent substrate to constitute an original plate and superposing a receptive sheet thereon to transfer the ink layer selectively to the receptive sheet. CONSTITUTION:The original plate 1 is constituted by coating the one-time pressure sensitive transfer type ink layer 3 having the non-transmissivity of light on the transparent substrate 2. The receptive sheet 4 is superposed on such ink layer 3. The printing pressure of a printing body 5 of a typewriter, etc., is applied to the sheet 4 from the rear face thereof. The printing image 6 of the ink layer 3 in the printing part is thereby detached from the substrate 2 and is transferred to the sheet 4. The light transmissivity is thereby provided to the plate 1 only in the detached part 61 of the image 6 and the negative 7 for photomechanical process is thus obtd. The surface of a plate material coated with a photosetting resin is exposed by using such negative 7, by which a letterpress original plate is obtd. Since the original plate is constituted by coating the ink layer on the transparent substrate, the negative for photomechanical process is easily formed simply by typing such original plate.

The resulting negative is placed on a plate surface coated with a photocurable resin on the upper surface, an image is created on the plate surface by exposure, and then the uncured portion of the photocurable resin other than the image is washed with water and removed. By doing this, you can change the photopress.

However, in such photoengraving, the creation of a photographic negative requires the steps of first creating a clear copy of the original and then photographing this, making the operation complicated and requiring special techniques and techniques for photographing. Skill is required;
Another problem is that the plate making itself is expensive.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve this object, the present invention provides an original plate having a one-time pressure-sensitive transferable ink layer that is opaque to light on one side of a transparent substrate. The one-time pressure-sensitive transferable ink layer is selectively transferred from the transparent substrate to the receiving sheet using an image forming device, and the original plate is superimposed on the receiving sheet such that the layer faces the receiving sheet. This system employs a configuration that forms a negative image.

[Action/Effect of the Invention] By doing this, it is now possible to create a negative using only the process that corresponds to the conventional process of creating a clean manuscript using a typewriter or printer, and it is possible to create a negative using photolithography technology. Among the steps involved in this process, there is no longer any need for photographing or developing negatives, making it extremely easy to scan printing plates.

As the original plate (1) in the present invention, a pressure-sensitive type original plate is used from the viewpoint of its handling. Such an original plate is placed on a light-transmitting transparent substrate (2) such as a polypropylene film or a polyester film with a thickness of 3 to 200 μm.
A pressure-sensitive transferable ink composition consisting of wax, oily substance, coloring material (dye, pigment), and binder substance if necessary is kneaded and applied to hot melt coating, or dissolved or dispersed in an organic solvent to form solvent coating. It has a pressure-sensitive transferable ink layer (3) with a thickness of 0.5 to 30 microns.

In the present invention, in order to improve the releasability of the pressure-sensitive transfer ink layer (3), for example, as shown in FIG. 0.0

The ink composition forming the pressure-sensitive transferable ink layer can be the same ink composition used for ordinary pressure-sensitive transferable media, but if the ink layer (3) to be distinguished is If opacity is required and the light opacity is poor, the resulting negative (7) can be used as a printing plate (9).
When placed on top and exposed to light, the photocurable resin layer (8
) is used to harden parts other than the desired hardened part (81), making it impossible to produce a fully satisfactory letterpress original plate. Therefore, in the present invention, between the transparent substrate (2) and the pressure-sensitive transfer ink layer (3), or as shown in FIG. ), aluminum, zinc,
A metal vapor deposited layer (12) of copper or the like having a thickness of 0.01 to 1 μm may be provided, and such metal vapor deposited layer (02) is transferred to the receiving sheet (4) together with the pressure-sensitive transferable ink layer (3) during printing. It will be done.

Further, the use of the receiving sheet (4) is not particularly limited as long as it can reliably receive the ink layer peeled off from the transparent base material (2). Films such as vinylon, polyester, cellophane, polypropylene, and polyethylene are preferably employed.

Further, in plate-making operations, there are cases in which the coating strength of the original plate is required. In this case, the strength of the coating film can be increased by increasing the amount of binder added to the pressure-sensitive transfer ink, but if the strength of the coating film becomes too strong, the transparent base material of the pressure-sensitive transfer ink There is a risk that the removability of the film will become poor and it will not be possible to return clear negatives.
