Since the cloth in the autoclave and the autoclave itself are initially at room temperature, all of the contact steam becomes water droplets until the temperature inside the autoclave exceeds 100°C, and the autoclave walls are constantly cooled from the outside atmosphere. Therefore, the steam is constantly cooled on the inner surface of the wall and turns into water droplets, leaving the inside of the can wet. Therefore, methods ① and ③ make it difficult to dry the processed material, and in particular, method ③ causes the wrapping paper to bleed and lose its commercial value. Moreover, it is extremely difficult to dry the cloth that is being packaged. In method (1) and (2), packaging is performed after sterilization, but it is nearly impossible to make the wrapping paper and workers completely sterile, and there is a problem that it is easy to be recontaminated with bacteria during packaging.

The boiling method described in ■ above completely wets the cloth, so even if it can be applied to small-scale cloth used in private hospitals, it cannot be applied to commercial mass production because drying is extremely difficult. It is not possible.

The above gas method (■) has the advantage that it can be sterilized at near room temperature, so there is no risk of deterioration of the packaging material and cloth, and that the sterilizing gas passes through the packaging material well, and there is no need to worry about it getting wet. However, the drawbacks include the high cost of gas, the difficulty of removing residual gas (poisonous gas, which becomes diethylene glycol when dissolved in water), and the danger to workers. There is. In particular, residual toxic gases in products are a serious problem, and it has been revealed that it is difficult to eliminate residual toxic gases no matter how many times the air is washed.

The aim is to produce textile products that can be sterilized without using toxic gases, without deteriorating the quality of the product, without requiring subsequent drying, and which can be sterilized while still wrapped in breathable wrapping paper that does not cause germs. The object of the present invention is to provide a sterilization method.

Means for Solving Problem C] The dry high-pressure steam sterilization method of the present invention that can achieve the above object is characterized in that when textile products are sterilized using steam at 100°C or higher in an autoclave, From before blowing until the end of sterilization, the fiber products inside and the inner wall of the autoclave can are
00' (7 or more. In other words, the water vapor, the textile product, and the autoclave can wall that come into contact must be kept at a temperature of at least 100°C during the contact. Of course, the temperature must not be raised above the temperature at which the fibers deteriorate.

In addition to its original functions, the autoclave used in the method of the present invention has a structure that can raise and maintain the autoclave can wall to over 100°C, a device to remove air at over 100°C, and other large equipment. It is only necessary to provide a means for raising the temperature inside the autoclave to 100° C. or higher.

Preferably, the inside of the autoclave is heated with a heater, the textile products inside are heated by air heat transfer, and then a vacuum is created, and then saturated steam of 100°C or higher is pumped in. After completion, the steam is poured into the lid of the autoclave. Either open the door and release it all at once, remove it with a vacuum pump, or replace it with high-temperature air to prevent the cooled vapor (steam below 100°C) from coming into contact with the product. [Function] When the above configuration is adopted, the steam comes into contact with an object having a temperature of 100°C or higher, and is not cooled to below 100°C. Therefore, no water droplets are generated in the autoclave and the textiles to be sterilized are not wetted.

For example, in the autoclave used, the door may be fastened by the Parayoung method, and the autoclave wall may not be a double wall but may have an electric heater wrapped around the outside of the wall. Further, the steam heater inside the autoclave may be provided near the door, and an electric heater may be used instead of the steam heater. Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the temperature of the cloth is raised by stirring the high-temperature air within the autoclave, but the cloth may be heated at a different location and quickly introduced into the autoclave.
