Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve reproduction up to low frequencies by providing a sound guide linked directly and a sound guide provided with a sound absorbing member or a damping member. CONSTITUTION:A microphone is constituted by a housing rear part 2 larger than an ear shell and a housing front part 1 inserted freely to the ear shell and having plural sound guides. The sound guides are provided with sound guides having high-tone sound hole 9 selecting the sound with excellent high-frequency sound characteristics and guiding it directly and guides of low sound frequency having a low sound hole 10 provided with sound absorbing member or a damping member 8. Thus, the sound up to low frequencies is applied excellently, no interference between sound waves is caused and the frequency characteristics are adjusted easily.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, with the above configuration, the housing cannot fit into the ear shell unless the outer diameter of the housing housing the speaker unit is approximately 14 mm to 18 mm. However, if the speaker unit is small, the reproduction limit of bass sounds will not be very low, resulting in dissatisfaction with the sound quality.

In view of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention has been developed so that at least the part inserted into the ear shell has the same size as the conventional one, but it is able to reproduce lower frequencies than the conventional one, and it also prevents the sound waves emitted from each part of the diaphragm from interfering with each other. The purpose of the present invention is to provide headphones whose frequency characteristics can be easily adjusted.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to solve the above problems, the headphones of the present invention have external dimensions such that the front part can be inserted into the ear shell, and the rear part has a larger diameter than the front part. A housing is provided, a speaker unit is arranged in the rear part of the housing, and a plurality of sound paths are arranged between the speaker unit and the front sound hole, and at least one of the sound paths is provided with a sound absorbing material or a sound path. A damping material is provided, and at least one other system is directly communicated with the front sound hole, or a sound absorbing material or a damping material made of a material different from that of the other systems is provided in the sound path.

Effect: With the above-described configuration, the present invention places a speaker unit with a larger outer diameter than the ear shell outside the ear shell, and can reproduce bass to a lower range than before, and reproduce treble sounds from the part of the diaphragm with the best treble characteristics. The selected sound pressure is guided to the front sound hole through a directly connected sound path, and the sound pressure of other parts is guided to the front sound hole through sound absorbing material or damping material.

At this time, the recess 11 engages with the protrusion at the lower part of the ear shell and is stably held. Since the rear part 2 of the housing houses the speaker unit 3, its outer diameter is larger than that of the front part 1 of the housing, but since it protrudes beyond the ear shell, there is no problem in wearing it. The front part l of the housing is inserted deep into the ear shell. Here, the sound waves emitted from the diaphragm 4 of the speaker unit 3 are transmitted to the partition wall 5,
Without 5', when the sound reaches the ear from the sound hole in the front of the housing, the sounds emitted from various parts of the diaphragm will interfere, and certain frequencies will be amplified or attenuated, resulting in peaks and valleys in the frequency response, causing distortion. It produces a certain sound quality. Therefore, the sound waves within a certain radius from the center of the diaphragm where the high frequency characteristics are less peculiar are passed through the treble sound path 6 through the partition walls 5 and 5' and into the treble sound hole 9.
The other portions of the sound waves are guided to the bass sound hole IO through the bass sound paths 7 and 7'. A sound absorbing material or a damping material 8 is placed in the bass sound paths 7, 7' to absorb high-pitched sounds or selectively adjust the frequency characteristics to reduce the high-pitched sounds emitted from the high-pitched sound hole 9 through the high-pitched sound path 6. Avoid interference. Here, as an example of the sound absorbing material or the damping material 8, a material such as soft plastic or rubber having open air cells, or a nonwoven fabric may be used as necessary.

A plurality of cylindrical partition walls 15 are provided inside the housing front part l in a concentric circle with respect to the center of the diaphragm 4. and the treble sound hole 9, and the outside part of this partition serves as a bass sound path 17 that communicates between the front surface of the diaphragm 4 and the bass sound hole 10, and this part is provided with a sound absorbing material. Alternatively, the brake material 8 may be filled.

5, the sound waves are guided to the treble sound hole 9 through the treble sound path 16, and the other sound waves are guided to the bass sound hole 10 through the bass sound path 17. Since the bass sound path 17 has a sound absorbing material or a damping material 8, it absorbs high frequencies or selectively adjusts the frequency characteristics, and the high frequencies emitted from the high sound hole 9 through the high frequency sound path 16 are combined with the high frequencies. It is designed not to interfere.

In the above embodiment, if necessary, a sound absorbing material or a damping material 8 having a performance different from that in the bass sound paths 7, 7' and 17 may be inserted into the high sound path 6°16. There is no problem in implementing it so as to control the frequency characteristics. Furthermore, in the above embodiments, the sound absorbing material or damping material 8 inserted into the sound paths 7, 7', and 17 can be used not only to control the frequency characteristics but also to control the balance between high and low sounds. I can do it.

Furthermore, in the above embodiments, the treble sound paths 6 and 16 are arranged concentrically with respect to the center of the speaker unit diaphragm, but if they are arranged non-concentrically, the distribution of high frequency characteristics will be improved. In addition, in the above embodiment, the housing front part 1, the rubber ring 1', and the housing rear part 2 are all cylindrical, but due to the way they fit in the ears and the design considerations, the cross-section of these parts is oval. It may be in any other suitable form.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention includes a housing in which the front part having a front sound hole has an external dimension that can be inserted into the ear shell, and the rear part has a larger diameter than the front part. A speaker unit is arranged in the front sound hole, and a plurality of sound paths are arranged between the speaker unit and the front sound hole, at least one of the sound paths is provided with a sound absorbing material or a damping material, and at least one of the other sound paths is provided with a sound absorbing material or a damping material. One system is connected directly between the speaker unit and the front sound hole, or by providing a sound absorbing material or a damping material made of a material different from that in the bass sound path, so that the outer diameter of the speaker unit is smaller than the conventional one. It is possible to reproduce deep bass, which was difficult with conventional in-the-ear bedphones, and the sound waves emitted from each part of the diaphragm interfere, causing peaks and valleys in the frequency response, especially in the treble region. This is an extremely effective invention, as it has the effect of preventing the occurrence of noise, and also makes it easy to control the output balance between treble and bass parts by using sound absorbing or damping materials placed in the sound path. be.
