にした放電灯段調光装置において、基準時間が短
くても前記切替えを簡単な操作で確実になし得る
ようにしたものである。

うにすることが考えられる。しかし、この場合上
記基準時間を長く設定すれば、基準時間設定のた
めのコンデンサの容量を増加する必要性から技術
的並びにコスト的な不利を生ずるばかりでなく、
放電灯が立ち消えを起こし、放電灯が全又は調光
点灯を維持できなくなる。従つて、上記基準時間
を短時間(例えば1秒以内)に設定する必要があ
り、このため基準時間内で電源電流の遮断を済ま
せることが困難になり、放電灯の全点灯と調光点
灯との切替えがうまくゆかなくなるという問題を
生じる。
