度検出手段と、所定の吸入空気雰囲気条件下でス
ロツトル弁開度と機関回転数とに基づいて予め設
定した基準基本燃料噴射量を記憶する記憶手段と
、機関回転数と吸入空気流量とに基づいて基本燃
料噴射量を演算する基本燃料噴射量演算手段と、
検出したスロツトル弁開度と機関回転数とに基づ
いて前記記憶手段から対応する基準基本燃料噴射
量を検索する基準基本燃料噴射量検索手段と、該
検索された基準基本燃料噴射量と実際の演算され
た前記基本燃料噴射量とを比較して空気密度を算
出する空気密度算出手段とを備えたことを特徴と
