係るピストンリングと先行技術に係るピストンリ
ングの摩耗特性を示す線図である。第５図は先行
技術において炭素繊維含有量と摺動速度が異なる
場合のピストンリングとシリンダの摩耗特性を示
す線図である。 ２…リング本体、３…合い口部、４…ピストン
、６…シリンダ。

Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) ピストンとシリンダとの間をシールすべく
該ピストンの外周に配設されるリング本体の両端
に相重なり合う合い口部を設けてなる往復動機械
用ピストンリングにおいて、前記リング本体は合
成樹脂からなる基材と少なくとも炭素繊維からな
る補強物質とから射出成形により成形し、かつ、
該炭素繊維の含有量はピストンリングの全重量に
基づいて最高１５重量％としたことを特徴とする
往復動機械用ピストンリング。 (2) 前記リング本体は前記各合い口部を相重な
り合わせたとき真円を形成するように成形してあ
る実用新案登録請求の範囲(1)項記載の往復動機
械用ピストンリング。 (3) 前記合成樹脂は熱可塑性樹脂のポリエーテ
ルエーテルケトン、又はポリエーテルサルフオン
である実用新案登録請求の範囲(1)項記載の往復
動機械用ピストンリング。 (4) 前記合成樹脂は熱可塑性樹脂のポリアミド
イミドである実用新案登録請求の範囲(1)項記載
の往復動機械用ピストンリング。
