Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently and surely awake a person by a detecting the sleeping state of a living body by bodily movement, and when bodily movement information is obtained, generating an alarm sound. CONSTITUTION:At the time of generation of bodily movement in the living body, a comparator 5 detects the existence of bodily movement on the basis of an output from a bodily movement detecting sensor 3 and a multivibrator 6 generates an output for a required time. When a signal indicating that a wake-up time is several minutes after is outputted from a time setting means 8, an output is generated from an AND circuit 11. The output of the circuit 11 is inputted to an alarm sound generating circuit 10 through an OR circuit 12 and an alarm sound is generated from a speaker 15. Since the alarm device is provided with the circuit 11, the living body is not awaken by his bodily movement at night. Since the alarm sound is generated from an awaking means 9 under a light sleep state by detecting the bodily movement through a bodily movement detecting means 7, the person can be effectively and clearly awaken.

First, the mechanism of sleep, which is the basis of this embodiment, will be explained. Normally, the body sleeps more deeply in the morning,
Shallow compared to the depth of sleep during the night, the body! l] The number of times (for example, turning over and shaking one's head) increases significantly compared to during the night. In addition, the time before and after body movement in the morning (1 minute to 3 molecules Jl) is an indicator of sleep depth (l! (indicating sleep) becomes stage 1. It is known that when a living body can wake up comfortably, the sleep just before waking up is a dream or sleep [depth is stage 1]. On the contrary, deep sleep, or Il! Stage 2 to stage 4 depending on sleep depth
In this state, even if you wake up your body, it will take a long time to wake up, and even if you wake up, you will still feel discomfort. Figure 4 shows night sleep, a deep sleep state, and Figure 5 shows dawn sleep, a light sleep state. As shown in Figure 4, during night sleep, body movements (arrows in the figure) There is little change in the sleep stage before and after (2 to 3 minutes) (the part indicated by It has been confirmed through sleep experiments that theta and beta waves, which are brain waves, appear. Note that θ waves indicate a slightly shallow sleep state. The mechanism of sleep described above shows that in the morning, if the living body is woken up before or after body movement is detected, the living body can be woken up from a shallow sleep state.

FIGS. 6 and 7 are diagrams showing an embodiment of the second invention, and the above-mentioned embodiment of the invention of IjSl effectively wakes up a person who is difficult to wake up and has difficulty waking up. During human sleep, Figure 7 (
When a sound stimulus is applied as shown in b), in the brain waves in response to the sound, k-complex waves appear in sleep stage 2, and as shown in #117 figure (a), the patient approaches wakefulness while repeating body movements, Eventually he wakes up. However, for people who have difficulty waking up, this state of body movement and shallow sleep continues for a long time (repeating), and they become accustomed to the stimulation of the alarm sound and are unable to wake up.This is explained in the example of the invention of @1 above. As shown, the sleep stage approaches wakefulness before and after body movement. Therefore, in this embodiment, an alarm sound is sounded at wake-up time, and when body movement is detected, stimulation such as increasing the volume of the alarm sound is doubled. By this,
It is designed to bring people to awakening more quickly.

The operation will be explained below. Now, if it is the wake-up time according to the time setting means 8 and the alarm sound is output from the alarm sound generation circuit 10, the alarm sound is output from the speaker 15 via the amplifier 13.
An alarm sound is emitted. At this time, assuming that there is no body movement, the analog switch 14 is off, so the amplification factor of the amplifier 13 is the resistance R,,R, (actually R
, /R1>. When this alarm sound causes the person's sleep level to become shallow and the person moves, that is, there is a body movement, the multi-pie break 6 output is generated as explained in the above-mentioned first invention. This output turns on the analog switch 14, and the resistor R2 is connected in parallel to the resistor R1, so the amplification factor of the amplifier is R, / (R, □) (where 1 /R, , = 1 /R, +1/(R2+R
xos): RzoN is the on-resistance of the analog switch)
The amplification factor of the amplifier 13 is increased to generate a loud alarm sound. As described above, according to the present embodiment, the alarm sound is emitted once, and the alarm sound detects by body movement that the depth of sleep has become shallow, and the volume of the alarm sound is increased. can wake people up efficiently and reliably. Furthermore, if the alarm tone is a monotonous stimulus, the alarm effect will be weakened due to anxiety, but in this embodiment, since the stimulus is varied, habituation does not occur, and the alarm can wake the person more reliably.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, the first invention includes a body movement detection means for detecting the sleeping state of a living body by body movement, a time setting means for setting a wake-up time, and a time setting means set in the time setting means. It is equipped with an alarm means that stimulates the living body when body movement information, which is the output of the body movement detection means, is obtained for several minutes before and after the wake-up time. An alarm sound can be emitted from the alarm means in a sleeping state, and thus it is possible to give a person an effective and refreshing awakening. A detection means, a time setting means for setting a wake-up time, applying a stimulus to the living body at the time set by the time setting means, and obtaining body movement information as an output of the body movement detection means after applying the stimulus. Since the device is equipped with an alarm means that doubles the stimulation given to the living body when the body wakes up, the alarm means emits an alarm sound at the wake-up time set in the time setting means, and this alarm sound can be used to determine the depth of sleep. By detecting that the body movement detection means has become shallow and increasing the volume of the alarm sound of the alarm means, it is possible to efficiently and reliably wake up the person in a short amount of time.
Moreover, if the alarm tone is a monotonous stimulus, the wake-up effect will be weakened due to fear, but since the stimulus is varied, habituation will not occur, and the effect can be achieved in that it can wake up the person more reliably.
