外壁用ガスケツトジヨイナーに関するものであ
る。

かえつて弾性発泡材と建材板との隙間から毛管現
象により雨水が浸入し易く、建材板の接触面が通
常長手方向に蛇行状に凹凸を生じ易い木口面であ
ると、その凹部とジヨイナーとに隙間を生じ易く
てその木口面の凹部から雨水の浸を防ぎ難いもの
であつた。

ついて説明すると、本例のジヨイナー主体1は金

状に膨出した上片部5とすると共に垂直片部4の
下端方を左右外側に折曲して水平片部6として全
体の断面形状をエ字状としており、一方、軟質合
成樹脂部材3は折曲部材の上片部5及び垂直片部
4の外面及び左右の水平片部6の基部上面に亘つ
て適当な厚さで積層している。このジヨイナー主
体1の上片部5に於ける軟質合成樹脂部材3の左
右両側縁の上部には先側を外側下方に傾斜した軟
質合成樹脂製の弾力性舌片7が連設され、ジヨイ
ナー主体の垂直片部4に於ける軟質合成樹脂部材
3の下部両側には先側を外側上方に傾斜した軟質
合成樹脂製の弾力性水返片8が連設され、ジヨイ
ナー主体の水平片部6に於ける軟質合成樹脂部材
3の上面には巾方向に適当間隔を置いて軟質合成
樹脂製突起9が連設され、ジヨイナー主体の水平
片部6の外端には先側を内側上方に向けた折返部
10が形成され、折返部10先と前記突起9先と
はほぼ同一水平面に整合されている。

材11に本留めする。なお、仮留め釘12は最初
の建材板13の施工に用いる以外は不要である。
また、必要により建材板13,13間のジヨイナ
ー上面の目地16にはコーキング材17をコーキ
ングする。

裏面に密接した複数の突起9により阻止され、万

て、建材板の伸縮、木口面の曲がりに対しても舌
片が追従し易くて木口面における防水性を高める
と共に建材板の外面からジヨイナーが突出するこ
とがなく美観に優れ且つ各種板厚の建材板の目地
部に適用でき、又この舌片と水平片部に積層した
軟質合成樹脂部材とにより2重防水を行うことが
でき、又、ジヨイナー主体の折曲部材が金属製で
あるため防火性を有し、上記追従性による木口面
の防水性と相俟つて外装用ガスケツトジヨイナー
として優れている。
