Claims

[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] (1) In a paper discharge unit configured to align the sheets of paper sequentially conveyed to a tray by abutting them against a positioning member, in a direction in which the conveyed sheets abut against the positioning member. A rotating body that provides a feeding action, a support member that supports the rotating body, and a moving means that moves the rotating body via the support member between an operating position in contact with the paper and a retreat position away from the paper. The paper ejecting unit is characterized in that a paper guide is provided on the support portion to guide the paper onto the tray when the rotating body is located between the operating position and the retracted position.
