A conventional facsimile transmitter, as shown in FIG.
, a pair of paper guide plates 8 for regulating the paper feeding direction of the transmitted original 4, a reading window 8a provided on one side of the pair of paper guide plates 8, and a reading device consisting of a fluorescent lamp 5, a lens 6, and a line sensor 7. The device was enclosed in an outer box 1, and only the document table 9 extended outward from the outer box 1.
The transmission document 4 is fed from a document table 9, passes through a pair of rollers 2, a pair of paper guide plates 8, a pair of rollers 3, and is discharged from a paper discharge port 1a provided in the outer box 1.

FIG. 2 is a sectional view of a facsimile transmitter showing one embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 2, numeral 10 is an outer box of the facsimile transmitter, and the upper surface thereof has an inclined surface 10a at an angle of 15 degrees or more with respect to the floor. A pair of rollers 11 and 12 is provided in the middle of the slope 10a so that the original document 13 to be transmitted is run almost linearly on the slope 10a. 14 is the sent manuscript 13
This is a guide plate that guides the travel of the vehicle. 15 is a fluorescent lamp, 16 is a lens, and 17 is a reading element. 18
is a reading window provided in the slope 10a of the outer box 10. A cap 19 is detachably attached to the outer box 10, and protects the pair of rollers 11, 12 and the guide plate 14, as well as maintaining the external appearance.

First, the transmission document 13 is stacked on top of the slope 10a with the document image side facing down. The roller pair 11 rotates in opposite directions and feeds the documents to be transmitted one by one. The transmission original 13 is guided and fed by the guide plate 14 and the slope 10a, and when the leading edge of the transmission original 13 reaches the window 18, reading of the image side of the transmission original 13 is started. That is, the fluorescent lamp 15 is
A reading scan is performed by illuminating the transmission original 13 through the lens 13, condensing the reflected light with the lens 16, and converting it into an electrical signal with the reading element 17. This electrical signal is processed by a circuit (not shown) and transmitted to the receiving side.

In this way, reading and scanning are performed sequentially, and the roller pair 12 rotates until the rear end of the transmission original 13 leaves the roller pair 12, and the transmission original 13 is discharged. Then, the rear end of the transmission document 13 is moved by a pair of rollers.
2, it slides down the slope 10a and is reliably ejected. If the angle is less than 15 degrees, the original may not be ejected due to the effects of friction, static electricity, etc. Therefore, it is desirable to have an oblique angle of 15 degrees or more.

As is clear from the above description, the present invention provides an outer box whose upper surface is inclined at an angle of 15 degrees or more with respect to the horizontal plane, and an original feeder that feeds the original in a straight line from above to below the inclined surface of the outer box. and a window for reading and scanning a document on the sloped surface of the outer box, the upper part of the slope formed on the top surface of the outer box of the facsimile device being used as a document table. Since there is no need to provide a separate document table and no space is required for it, the device can be made more compact and space can be used more efficiently.Furthermore, the document can be run linearly from top to bottom on the slope of the top of the device. The paper feeding, running,
This has the effect of making the emissions extremely stable.
