油圧ダンパーを配置し、該ダンパーを被うように
前記両ブラケツトから夫々延設したアウターチユ
ーブとインナーチユーブとを抜き差し自在に挿入
せしめてなる支柱機構において、前記油圧ダンパ
ーを単筒型で構成し、該ダンパーのピストンロツ
ドを下部ブラケツト側に、他方、そのシリンダを
上記ブラケツト側に夫々連結すると共に、シリン
ダ上端から垂下せしめたサブロツドのシリンダ内
油面下端に圧側減衰力発生部を設け、かつ、該サ
ブロツド内に差し通した操作ロツドを伝達手段を
介して外部操作可能な操作杆に連動させて、該杆
の操作による前記操作ロツドの変位で、前記発生
部における作動油の通路面積を可変して発生減衰
力を調整可能に構成してなることを特徴とするシ
ートダンパー。 (2) 前記操作杆を、垂直向きの前記操作ロツド
に対して、直角向きのギヤー結合からなる前記伝
達手段の介在下に、前記上部ブラケツトの周辺域
に設けたガイド溝に沿わせて横向きに張出せしめ
