イドブロツクによつて構成されるシリンダ室内に
回転自在に横架され、その半径方向に進退自在な
複数のベーンを有するロータと、上記フロントサ
イドブロツクの内面側に所定角度内で回転自在に
軸着された制御プレートと、かつフロントサイド
ブロツクとフロントヘツドとで構成される吸入室
とを備え、 上記制御プレートを回転させ、該プレートの周
縁に設けた吸入口を通じて、フロントサイドブロ
ツクに形成されたバイパス孔とシリンダ室とを連
通させて、制御プレートの回転角によつて、バイ
パス量を制御することにより、圧縮作業室の容量
を可変とした気体圧縮機において、 前記吸入室内には、フロントサイドブロツクに
穿設された連絡孔とバイパス孔とを区画する仕切
壁が設けられ、高速走行時、制御プレートの回転
に伴いシリンダ室内とバイパス孔とが連通され、
