導線と超音波変換素子は支持体1の内部で接続し

は、探触子先端部(変換素子配列面部)を被検体
表面に当接し、超音波変換素子2をリニア電子走
査して対象臓器を監視しながら案内溝11に沿つ
て穿刺針を刺入する。しかしながら、変換素子配
列面の中央部すなわち案内溝11の付近の残留部
分12においては超音波変換素子が欠落し、変換
素子アレイは2分された状態となつているため、
この欠落部分では超音波の送信及び受信ができな
