造に関するものである。

従来一般に、自動車用放熱機器は、ラジエータ
シユラウドピラーの上下にボルトを介して取付け
ているので、上部側取付部は、ラジエータシユラ
ウドアツパーが位置するため間隙も狭く、また下
方から手を差込んでナツト締付等を行なうように
なつているため、その取付作業は甚だ困難であつ
た。また放熱機器例えばクーラコンデンサを後か
ら組み付ける際には、フロントグリルを外して取
付けなければならないなどの欠点を有していた。

の上端部に固設しかつ該上端部の車幅方向の略全
域にわたつて前方に延長した上部フランジで、そ
の前端部を、前記上部クロスメンバー2の上面に
ボルト8によつて固定する。9はクーラコンデン
サ6の両側部に固設しかつ、該両側部の上下方向
の略全域にわたつて側方に延長した側部フランジ
で、その前端部は前記ラジエータシユラウドピラ
ー4にボルト10によつて固定する。13は上部
クロスメンバー2下面に溶着されたナツトで、1
4は側部フランジ9に溶着されたナツトである。

ら挿入した後、上部フランジ7を上部クロスメン
バー2の上面へボルト8により取付け、また側部
フランジ9をラジエータシユラウドピラー4の下
方にボルト10によりそれぞれ固定すればよいの
で、従来のようにラジエータシユラウドアツパー
が位置する上方の間隙の小さい場所での組付けが
省かれるため、ボルトの締付作業も容易となつて
作業性を向上し、またこのような取付構造とした
ために、クーラコンデンサ6が車体前部の補強と
なり、更に第4図に示すように、エンジンルーム
1前端部下方のフロントグリル12から侵入した
空気は、矢印のように上方の上部フランジ7によ
つてクーラコンデンサ6とラジエータシユラウド
アツパーとの間隙が塞がれ、また側方の側部フラ
ンジ9によつてクーラコンデンサ6とラジエータ
シユラウドピラー4との間隙が塞がれるため、上
部フランジ7及び側部フランジ9とで誘導せら
れ、クーラコンデンサ6とエンジンラジエータ1
1へ送り込まれるので、これら放熱機器の冷却効
率を一層向上することとなる。
