The individual maximum flow rate is calculated by detecting changes in the gas flow rate at each predetermined measurement period, identifying how many types of gas appliances are currently in use and how much gas each one consumes, and calculating the maximum gas consumption among them. When the amount exceeds a set value, a closing signal is output to the shut-off means to prevent gas leaks such as cracks in the gas hose or combustion going out when the gas valve is half-open. In addition, the safe continuous use time is the amount of time a gas appliance can be used continuously for each range based on statistical data of the time a gas appliance in a certain combustion range is continuously used. when the data from 6 exceeds the set time, sends an activation signal to the cutoff means 4;
This ensures safety even when you forget to turn off gas appliances.

In addition, in the first year, after installing this gas cutoff device, the outside temperature is detected by the temperature detection means 11, and the outside temperature is detected under a predetermined condition (here, the temperature condition is, for example, when the outside temperature at a certain time of the day is a predetermined temperature). If it is satisfied, a temperature judgment signal is output, and upon receiving the temperature judgment signal, the timer start judgment section outputs a timer start signal only in the first year. . The timer unit 11 is activated by the timer activation signal and starts counting for a predetermined period, and at the same time, the usage status storage unit 14 records the gas usage pattern, that is, the total flow rate, individual maximum flow rate, and safe continuous usage time from the usage status detection unit 6. When the timer count for a predetermined period ends, the data of each actually measured gas usage pattern is changed to the appropriate usage condition and stored in the gas appropriate usage condition change storage section 16. Then, the memory contents of the gas proper usage condition change storage unit are stored in the timer unit 1.
The gas is stored in a predetermined storage section in the gas appropriate usage condition storage section 17 in accordance with the temperature determination signal when the gas gas is activated.

From the next year onwards, the temperature determination signal is used to store the initial conditions in the initial condition setting section 7 and the same temperature determination signal for the first year in the gas proper usage condition storage section 17 in the gas appropriate usage condition setting section 1st. The proper gas usage conditions to be actually used are set by comparing the proper gas usage conditions that have been set, and as in the first year, the abnormality judgment section 9 compares the signal from the usage state detection section 6 with the gas proper usage conditions setting section. The appropriate gas usage conditions are compared and the presence or absence of flow rate abnormality is monitored. If it is determined that there is an abnormality, a closing signal is output from the closing signal output section 10 to the shutting means 4 to shut off the gas passage.
