It is common for electric horns to have ventilation holes that allow ventilation between the inside of the horn and the outside air, and the most commonly used method at present is to cut and bend a part of the container, as shown in Figure 1. This is a method of providing ventilation holes. However, due to the structure of this vent hole, there is a direction in which the inside of the horn can be directly viewed through the vent hole (indicated by the arrow), and if splashed from this direction, electrical components such as the interrupter inside the horn will be exposed to water, causing electrolytic corrosion. However, it has the disadvantage that it tends to cause problems such as poor conductivity and poor conductivity. As a countermeasure to the above, some proposals include covering the ventilation hole with a holder or shielding it with a terminal block. However, the ventilation holes formed by punching or drilling into the horn body (container) do not have a structure that can eliminate water intrusion from the ventilation holes, so the position of the ventilation holes must be set in the direction of gravity of the horn body to have a drainage function. I have to let it happen. However, in the above proposal, other functional members provided outside the horn body, such as a holder for attaching the horn to the vehicle and a terminal block for supplying power to the horn, cannot necessarily be set in the direction of gravity when the vehicle is outfitted. Therefore, the above proposal has the problem that it can only be adopted in specific cases. In addition, some measures are being implemented to prevent direct droplets by attaching bent pipes to ventilation holes, but this method is not common due to cost issues.

In view of the above, this invention constitutes a waterproof structure as claimed in the claims of the utility model registration in order to achieve the above object. This will be explained with reference to drawings of examples.
Reference numeral 1 denotes an iron container, which has a flange portion 1a at the open end and a recessed portion 1b at the center of the bottom. And this container 1
A vent hole 1c is provided through the wall forming the container 1 for the purpose of ventilating the inside of the electric horn with outside air. This vent hole 10 is set so that the horn is positioned in the direction of gravity when the horn is mounted on an automobile, and also has a drainage function. Reference numeral 2 indicates a fixed core fixed to the center of the container recess 1b, and 3 indicates a coil bobbin around which an electromagnetic coil 4 is wound. 2, it is fixed to the container recess 1b. Reference numeral 5 designates an interrupter that energizes the electromagnetic coil 4 intermittently, and reference numeral 6 designates a diaphragm fixed to the flange portion 1a so as to close the container 1. 7 is a shield for droplets, etc., which prevents the inside of the container 1 from being seen directly from any direction when viewed through the ventilation hole 1c, that is, the droplets directly enter the inside of the container (inside the horn). This shielding body 7 is formed integrally with the collar portion of the coil bobbin 3.

4 to 6 show other embodiments, in which the droplets from the ventilation hole 1c collide with the shielding body 7 and then forming a circumferential ventilation path (maze-like) formed by the container 1 and the shielding body 7. The inside of the container can only be reached through the ventilation passage 9), and therefore a higher waterproofing effect can be obtained. In this embodiment, the vent holes 1c are provided at two locations, and this is done to improve ventilation efficiency and to enhance the drainage effect of water droplets and the like that adhere to the vent holes so as to block them.

As mentioned above, according to this invention, the inside of the container cannot be seen directly from any direction through the ventilation hole, so droplets do not directly wet the inside of the container, and the ventilation hole is positioned in the direction of gravity. If so, droplets that collide with the shielding body can be discharged from the ventilation hole without entering the inside of the horn, and therefore have extremely excellent waterproof performance. Further, by providing a winding air path leading from the vent to the inside of the horn, a better waterproofing effect can be achieved than by providing only a shield against water droplets flying into the vent. Furthermore, since the shielding body and the coil bobbin can be integrally molded with resin, the cost is also low.

In addition, the present invention is an extremely versatile waterproof structure without being limited in its implementation as in the conventionally proposed case of shielding with other functional parts provided outside the horn body.
