It is common for electric horns to have ventilation holes for the purpose of ventilating the inside of the horn and the outside air, and the most commonly used method at present is to cut and bend a part of the container as shown in Figure 7. It is designed to provide ventilation holes. However, due to its structure, this vent hole has a direction in which the inside of the horn can be directly viewed through the vent hole (indicated by the arrow), and if splashed from this direction, electrical components such as the interrupter inside the horn will be exposed to water, causing electrolytic corrosion. However, it has the disadvantage that it tends to cause problems such as poor conductivity and poor conductivity. As a countermeasure to the above, some proposals include covering the ventilation hole with a holder or shielding it with a terminal block. By the way, the ventilation holes that are punched out or drilled into the horn body (container) do not have a structure that can eliminate water intrusion through the ventilation holes, so they should be positioned in the direction of gravity of the horn body so that they also have a drainage function. I have to let it happen. However, in the above proposal, other functional members provided outside the horn body, such as a holder for attaching the horn to the vehicle and a terminal block for supplying power to the horn, cannot necessarily be set in the direction of gravity when the vehicle is outfitted. Therefore, the above proposal has the problem that it can only be adopted in specific cases. Another possibility is to attach a bent pipe or the like to the ventilation hole to prevent direct splashing, but this method poses a cost problem and is not common.

In view of the above, this invention constitutes a waterproof structure as claimed in the claims of the utility model registration in order to achieve the above object. This will be explained with reference to drawings of examples.
1 is an iron container, with a flange portion 1a at the open end.
It has a recess 1b at the center of the bottom. This container 1 has a ventilation hole 1 that can be penetrated through the wall forming the container 1 for the purpose of ventilating the inside of the electric horn and the outside air.
c is provided. This vent hole 1c is installed so that the horn is positioned in the direction of gravity when the horn is mounted on a car, and also has a drainage function. 2 is a fixed iron core fixed to the container recess 1b, and 3 is an electromagnetic coil disposed around the fixed iron core 2. Reference numeral 4 denotes an auxiliary yoke provided to close the recess 1b, and a rivet 5
is fixed to container 1. The auxiliary yoke 4 in this embodiment constitutes a magnetic path as an electromagnet together with the container recess 1b, and also has the role of pressing and fixing the electromagnetic coil 3. 6 is electromagnetic coil 3
7 is an open container 1
This is a diaphragm stretched over the flange portion 1a so as to close the flange portion 1a. and 8 is a shielding body for droplets, etc., which prevents direct view from any direction when looking inside the container 1 through the ventilation hole 1c;
That is, it is designed to prevent droplets from directly entering the inside of the container (inside the horn) through the ventilation hole 1c, and this shield 8 is continuous and integrally formed with the auxiliary yoke 4.

3 and 4 show other embodiments, in which droplets from the ventilation hole 1c collide with the shield 8, and then
The interior of the container can only be reached through a circumferential (maze-like) ventilation path 9 formed by a pressing part formed by pressing the container 1 and the shield 8, and is therefore more superior. Provides waterproof effect.
In this embodiment, ventilation holes are provided at two locations, and these are intended to improve the ventilation performance and, on the other hand, to enhance the drainage effect of water droplets and the like that adhere to the ventilation holes so as to block them.

FIGS. 5 and 6 also show examples in which a ventilation passage is provided as in FIGS. 3 and 4. In this case, a circumferential recess is formed in the container 1 through which the ventilation hole 1c passes, The shield 8 constitutes a ventilation passage 10. Note that the longitudinal shape of the ventilation passages 9 and 10 is not limited to a circumferential shape.

As described above, according to this invention, the inside of the container cannot be seen directly from any direction through the ventilation hole, so droplets do not directly wet the inside of the container, and the ventilation hole can be positioned in the direction of gravity. In this case, droplets that collide with the shielding body can be discharged from the ventilation hole without entering the inside of the horn, and therefore have extremely excellent waterproof performance. Further, by providing a winding air path leading from the air hole to the inside of the horn, a better waterproofing effect can be achieved than when only a shielding body is provided against water droplets flying into the air hole. Furthermore, since the shielding body and the auxiliary yoke can be integrally press-molded, the cost is also low.

In addition, the present invention is an extremely versatile waterproof structure without being limited in its implementation as in the conventionally proposed case of shielding with other functional parts provided outside the horn body.
