Conventional configuration and its problems Recently, a method has been adopted in which both a washing machine and a dryer are installed and all processes from washing to drying are done in the same place, which greatly reduces the user's effort. .
In addition, in order to minimize the area occupied by washing machines and dryers in homes, it has become common to install dryers on top of washing machines via a stand. Many dehumidifying dryers are used, which are equipped with a heat exchanger that cools and dehumidifies the hot, humid air discharged from the dryer, and are designed to prevent hot, humid air from being discharged indoors.

This dehumidifying type dryer uses a heat exchanger to cool the air, which has become humid by removing moisture from the material to be dried, to dehumidify it as water, and discharges this dehumidified water to the outside of the machine through a discharge pipe or the like.

However, as mentioned above, when a dryer is installed in the same place as a washing machine, two drainage routes are required: the washing machine's drainage hose and the dryer's dehumidifying water drainage pipe, so it is difficult to install the dryer indoors. Wastewater treatment becomes difficult.

Therefore, in the past, a method has been adopted in which the dehumidified water is drained into the washing tank of the washing machine using the configuration described below, and the water drainage path is reduced to one drain hose of the washing machine. .

Reference numeral 10 denotes a dehumidifying dryer, and its lower part has a drain pipe 11 for discharging dehumidified water to the outside of the machine. It is inserted into the socket 12.
Further, a drainage channel 13 is provided in a portion of the top back plate 8 corresponding to the lower part of the socket 12, and the dehumidified water flowing out from the drainage pipe 11 inserted into the socket 12 flows through this drainage channel 13. The washing tank 1 falls upward, passes through the drainage channel 13, and is supported by a support rod 9 in an anti-vibration manner.
It is structured so that it falls within 4. 15 is a unit stand that supports the dryer 10.

According to the above configuration, since water is discharged from the drain pipe 11 of the dehumidifying dryer 10, a small amount of hot and humid air is also discharged, so a large amount of air condenses on the inside of the top plate 5, the control plate 7, etc. However, there are disadvantages in that the life of each electrical component in the control board 7 is significantly shortened, malfunctions occur, and condensed water falls onto the floor.

In order to eliminate the above-mentioned inconvenience, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, a water reservoir 16 for storing water is provided in the middle of the drain pipe 11.
A structure was proposed that would allow only moisture to escape from the aircraft, while preventing hot, humid air from escaping.

However, according to this structure, when the water in the water reservoir 16 freezes in winter, or when dirt, dust, etc. accumulates in the water reservoir 16 and it becomes clogged, the dehumidified water overflows and the dryer is blocked. Furthermore, if the drain pipe 11 becomes clogged due to freezing or dust, water will be collected in the drain pipe 10 because the water reservoir 16 is constructed in a thin pipe. The problem was that it was very difficult to remove. Further, if the water reservoir section 16 is provided in the middle of the drain pipe 11 exposed to the outside, the appearance performance will be very poor, and the production thereof will be difficult and the cost will be extremely high.

Structure of the invention In order to achieve the above purpose, the invention is as follows:
A drain pipe is provided to guide the dehumidified water generated in the dehumidifying dryer to the outside of the machine, and the end of this drain pipe has a substantially U-shaped bend at the lower end, and the opening at the end is located at the top of the inner surface of the bend. The upper end opening side of the drain cap member located at approximately the same height as the U-shaped portion or slightly above this is connected, and the drain cap member is connected to the top plate provided at the top of the washing machine main body. A socket into which a member can be freely inserted and removed is provided, and dehumidified water coming out of the drainage cap member is drained into the washing machine main body and the top plate.
The device is configured to drain water through the drainage path of the washing machine, and a water reservoir is formed in the approximately U-shaped portion of the drain cap member, so that only moisture is discharged without letting out hot and humid air. This makes it possible to easily remove blockages such as ice and dust.

DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In FIG. 4, a drain cap member 17 is detachably inserted into the tip of a drain pipe 11 of a dehumidifying dryer 10. This drainage cap member 1
7 is integrally formed with a tubular part 17a having a diameter large enough to allow the drainage pipe 11 to be inserted in the upper part, and a bent part 17b having a substantially U-shape in the lower part. A water reservoir 18 is formed inside 17b. The end opening 17c is located at the same height as or slightly above the substantially U-shaped portion 17d on the upper inner surface of the bent portion 17b.
The outer diameter dimension r of the fitting portion of the drainage cap member 17 with the socket 12 is equal to or larger than the maximum outer diameter dimension R of the bent portion 17b. This is socket 1
This is to facilitate attachment and detachment to and from 2. Slightly above the fitting portion of the drainage cap member 17 with the socket 12, there is a flange portion 17e for fixing the position in the vertical direction. Moreover, the end opening 17c
has a cut surface that slopes downward toward the substantially U-shaped portion 17d, and has a pin-shaped portion 17f projecting downward at the lowermost end of the bent portion 17b.

The drainage cap member 17 formed in this way is inserted into the socket 12 of the top plate 5, as shown in FIG. 13 is provided, and this drainage channel 13 communicates with the upper part of the washing tank.

In such a structure, dehumidified water from the dehumidifying dryer 10 passes through the drain pipe 11 and reaches the water reservoir 1 inside the bent portion 17b of the drain cap member 17.
A water puddle occurs at 8, and only water enters the end opening 17.
It flows out of the drainage cap member 17 through c. Since the end opening 17c of the drainage cap member 17 has a cut surface that slopes downward toward the substantially U-shaped portion 17d, dehumidified water flows out from the center of the bent portion 17b to the lower end. , and falls along the pin-shaped portion 17f.

Effects of the invention As described above, according to the invention, by providing a water reservoir inside the bent part provided in the drainage cap member, hot and humid air from the dehumidifying dryer is removed from the machine. It allows only moisture to flow out without any leakage, and prevents dew condensation from forming inside the top panel or on the control board. This prevents the lifespan of electrical components, etc. from being shortened, and prevents malfunctions. . Also, if residual water freezes inside the bent part of the drain fitting member or if dust etc. gets stuck there,
Since the end opening and the substantially U-shaped portion are located quite close to each other, dust and the like can be removed extremely easily. Furthermore, since the bent portion of the drain cap member is hidden within the top plate in the installed state, the appearance performance is extremely good.
